read somewhere today that TW dvd's (most likely) wont be available in 2005, although it was fairly obvious it still pi$$ed me off to read it
do you ever feel like you're being punished for being a fan of this great show? horrible time-slots, cuts, edits, brilliant characters killed off - or carted off to Bellvue, then the show gets cancelled and six years later, STILL no plans for a dvd release? jagoffs.

If anyone wants to buy TW series 1 & 2 on dvd they are available from this site http://www.cdjapan.co.jp They cost around $58 I'm afraid i dont know what that is in Sterling but I have sent for sreies 1 and they also had a collectors set of TW for sale.

on boards.ie lots of people noticed,and the general consensus is that RTE are idiots! They should even be allowed run a TV network. when i e-mailed them they said that everything was shown in order...just proving how stupid they are!

Help !! Can anybody who gets R.T.E 1 please tell whats happening with tonights double bill of T.W.? Is it really being replaced by some stupid unscheduled film?? Arghhhhhh!!!
Ye it was replaced...upon finally admitting they made a mistake and skipped an episode,they decided to put on a double bill including the one they skipped. However as the episodes in question deal with a specific plotline involving a terrorist attack,they felt in light of todays attacks on London,that it would be inappropriate to show them on the same day. Hope that helps.

Thanks Eoin, my newspaper tv listing didn't elaborate on the content of the programme, in fact I didn't even realise that it was a double episode until 10pm that night. Quite correct of RTE under the circumstances to pull the plug on it thursday night. It would have been more than a little insensitive to show a terrorist attack theme. Does anyone else have a problem posting messages? This is my second attempt to reply
they also replaced 24 which has a terrorist theme with CSI Miami last night.
and these boards have been really slow for me the majority of the time over the last few weeks,too much traffic maybe.
