not sure... last week they sent me an e-mail saying it was pulled (last week) and they would review the situation for next week,they obviusly thought it was too soon as bodies were still being recovered this week. id say it will be on next week.

Hi all, just found this forum, i have been a fan of TW since it first aired on skyone (i think) years ago and even then it was really hit or miss regarding sheduling, although nothing like it has been since channel four started showing it.

I cant beleive with so much rubbish on tv that C4 or E4 cant find a regular night spot (uncut episides) for this show. In my mind the prog may not be as good as ER or NYPD Blue at their peaks but it is better than the latter episodes of both those series.

Yet again im missing an episode that i already missed last year, it is so frustrating.

And with the school hols comung up again, TW will again dissapear,

When will it return?

im irish and its from an irish network that i got the e-mail because i had sent them one. they are showing season 6,but they pulled it this week and last because of the london attacks.

guess what TW people? those muppets at channel 4 have decided to pull mondays episode as well as well as todays, due to scenes which - although nothing to do with terrorists - might remind people that terroists really exist

as much as I love this programme I cant be arsed to keep checking the schedule incase they show an episode when they are not supposed to or cancel episodes when they are supposed to be showing them, just gonna download seasons 3-6 and as far as I am concerned channel 4 can go

Its not as if they have it on at "primetime"
If the viewing public feel they will offended or affected by a programme all the they have to do is simply turn it off!!
And as you correctly pointed out it has got no terrorist insinuations in the plot.

I have to say that as frustrated as I am, and have been over the years, at the awful scheduling of TW, this time I do understand the reasoning. It’s much better to upset or annoy the viewers of what is, in my mind, a great “fictional TV programme” than to remind, even one person, of the horror and reality that they may have lost a loved one in the terrorist attacks

I just hope when TW returns it continues from where it left off, or even better, someone at C4 actually decides to schedule a nightly slot

remind people of what happened? I doubt they need a tv show to remind them, and the episodes have absolutrly nothing to do with terrorists so there is still no need to skip episodes
even if they took it off untill after school holidays and bought it back with 4.22 then I wouldnt be anywhere near as pi$$ed off with them, but instead they are going to show it from 5.2 on tuesday and then take it off for a few months, it's ridiculous

think this has to be the stupidest/funniest goof so far.................just finished watching 2.13 where Bobby helps his old teacher to die, when the teacher realises who he is she calls him by his real name 'Bobby Cannavale' instead of character name 'Bobby Caffey'

that has to be deliberate, theres no way they could do that by accident??

i thought i was the only person who thought TW was worth watching?!

what can i say, i love it. every now and again you can see the joins, there was one episode, recently, where jimmy (i think it was) was using a jack hammer to get thru a wall and the set effects were laughable, but it scores highly on all the important things!

plot, cast, acting...great stuff...

whoevers decision it was to do that, do the honourable thing and resign, you are a disgrace to television!

please channel four...re run the WHOLE DAM THING from series 1, 9pm ish wed or thursay night...to the end...

then we have, um, "ED"? whatever the hell rubish is that? (it might be good, i never watched it in disgust, after settling down, friday night, after dinner to watch TW...)

...erm, then i look at the digital program guide and it states ED all the way thru this week, so i don't bother setting my pace twinview to record it...erm, then i get up today and see that it WAS on...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

so somebody tell me, was fridays then end of, what series 5?

and mondays' should have been, what series 6, ep1?

i need someone to PM me how i can get to watch fridays and todays episodes...

it was bad enough, when it got moved from thursday night or whenever it was, to EVERY DAY in the dam weekdays mornings?

i missed so much before i stumbled on it...

hello everyone, and welcome to all the newbies!! third watch is greatly underappreciated/under-represented, so its great to have you all on board.

yes, channel four's scheduling is a horrendous mistake - im pretty sure a good percentage of our 33 pages is numerous complaints about this, but c4 arent gonna change their mind, so we have to live whatever they give us. as c4suck said, i would highly recommend downloading eDonkey2000 and then downloading episodes from http://www.the-realworld.de/modules.php?name=ed2k&op=Category&cid=1&csid=135. ive now got all the episodes, and the quality is generally good, particularly for season 6, although some episodes have less great picture and sound - they are all watchable.

as for the missed eps, im hoping that c4 may just sneak these in randomly when the time feels more appropriate. i can understand c4's decision - people's sensibilites are still sensitive to the events of 7 July, and watching a young woman's demise after an explosion (which is what is featured in one of the episodes) does not seem fitting to me.

thats so funny! i dont think i ever noticed that - will have to go back and re-visit that one!! it's probably deliberate - in one of the episodes where doc was chatting up a girl in a bar, he was describing his dad as looking like ossie davis - and it WAS ossie davis that played doc's dad!

ps it looks like tw is back from tomorrow with the last episode on wednesday.

Your request to run every episode, one a week, is just rediculous. A television company wouldn't just lock up a time slot for over 2 years (132 episodes) like that, unless it was constant new material.
There is nothing wrong with the morning daily slot, unless they find something better to put on. Which I doubt they have.
