That really is great news! does that mean then that season 6 starts off from the Hospital shootout? I certainly hope it is! Well everyone we shall keep eyes out for news of when C4 may show the new season! Can anyone explain why they cancelled it in the USA? Anyway for now HOORAY!!

bazza,yes it takes up from where it left off in the hospital.

In the US,NBC just never gave it a chance. Sure you can argue they gave it 6 years,but in 6 years they had about 7 different times slots and 6 different days,making it nearly impossible for it gain a huge audience since it kept moving. The ratings were still quite good in the last season,and were doing well on Friday nights (the quietest day for tv),yet NBC proved the were never really behind the show and pulled the plug with little warning. Luckily the last episode had not started filming yet. The script for the finale which had a cliffhanger and different story was thrown out and a new one written in about 2 days so they could wrap things up,give us an ending. To me it was a very good one,it did feel rushed,but having to tie things up with only 1 episode to do it,I think they did very well.

does anyone know if 4 would be allowed to show Third Watch on e4 or more4? Im not sure if sky one still have the rights or not..............I have just asked c4ve, but he/she always ignores me

At last i'll get to see the shoot-out at the hopsital, even though I get RTE, my reception is only good if it rains, (ok the rest of you can stop laughing, I can just hear you)
Do you have any idea if channel4 will show it this year? or is that still unknown?
I see cdjapan are selling series 1 & 2 for $19.99 each. they are playable wordwide too.
I start work at 7 am on friday morning, but I dont care if I have to use matchsticks all day, I'm going to pray for rain and get the tissues out for Thursday night 11.40

no, its just season 1 in two parts.

Actually cdjapan sent me a notice last week of a limited number of season 2 dvd's that were now available.

Great final ep to a high quality, classy and very underrated drama series-thanks for all the memories courtesy of john wells,molly price,jason wiles,tia texada,nia long etc etc etc,it was a gem of a show that was treated very badly by NBC during its 6yr run but i know most of the cast will be seen in other shows/projects again(or have already re cibrian,cannavale,carlson,raver).Goodbye to "Camelot" and the 55th precinct!

Your sentiments are echoed by every true Thirdwatcher, I am going to miss Sully and CO., my prayers were answered last night as it rained and i got a great reception on RTE, and I managed to see the Final episode. I don't like to admit to crying over a TV show, but I did shed a few tears when Ty came back in to say good-bye to Sully.
Even though Camelot is gone "LONG LIVE THIRDWATCH"

Shed a few tears!! I cried like a bitch for like the last half of the episode!! It truly was magnificent, its a pity it didn't get treated better. Got killed off in its prime, I suppose in a way its better than if had of dragged on like ER is doing now.

Suffering withdrawal symptoms here in Ireland tonight, no more TW.
No sign of Channel 4 finishing off season 5 never mind starting season 6!!!
What are we going to do without our fix of TW?
