nutz,THIRD WATCH SPOILER ALERT SEASON 5-the guy u were asking about michael beach who played doc "left" the previous episode and that's why the other paramedics were being interviewd for their perspectives etc-let's say his departure was pretty dramatic.if u click on tv tome season 5,the synopses are pretty good.hope that helps.re dvds as far as i know only season 1 has been released overseas but i have some of the better eps on vid if u want to borrow at any stage.

tvnutz.....i am a huge fan of ER....just received my series 2 DVD boxset and am working my way quickly through each episode!...yeh ER and TW can be seen as similar, and there has even been a crossover episode in each show, where ER characters (dr lewis) was in TW and in ER bosco and his partner were in it....so yeh for that reason i tried to get into TW...and the ones ive seen they are good (not as fab as ER mind you) but i watch too much telly! so i havnt been as committed to TW as i might like to be!

SPOILER ALERT SEASON5 THIRD WATCH-
nutz,there was a few major incidents end of season 4 and through season 5 that put his character doc on a downward spiral and it culminated with him shooting his new boss steeper played by starsky and hutch's paul michael glaser in the firehouse because he wasn't happy with the boss's new procedures re the paramedics etc and kim was also doc's immediate superior etc by this stage.i'm looking fwd to part 2 of the drugs ep re bosco's brother this thurs nite.
p.s-i mentioned de lotto thing cause u'd said it re buying dvds with lotto in an earlier reply,cheers.

yeah his character was very gd but the show in last year or so has moved a lot away fron stories involving the 3 emergency services and mainly just concentrated on the police characters(bosco,faith,sgt cruz,sasha monroe,davis,sully)with the odd ensemble ep every few weeks,not that i'm complaining cause i prefer the police storylines.also,another paramedic kim will no longer be a reg come end of season 5........

Ye aido it was very good again...very funny!Sean Astin aka Samwise form Lord of the Rings guest starred.It should be on again one of the nights,just watch out for it!My VCR is messed up so CSI:Miami didnt record which annoyed me!I hate missing stuff lol!

I saw One Tree Hill tonight...Dan must go to hell!!!!I do not think I have hated a character more!In any show!Even in Buffy or Angel where there are murderers!Dont hate them as much as him!lol

I liked the thing between Lucas and Keith,at least he is not a total a hole!I think I can see there might be something between him and lucas' mom later in the season!

The episode i thought was the best from the episodes i've seen so far. I loved the part where nathan walks in and peytons painting a piece of paper black and nathans goes "whats that ment to be?"...peytons reply was birllant "love"

yeah it's a very enjoyable show,very slick.i'm not sure if any reg channel will pick it up cause here in ireland we rely on sky1 to see it also.

if any terristal channel do pick it up it will probably be 5
