im jumping back a bit here, but didnt dan kill keith because he still believes that keith set the fire and tried to kill him? this would allow for some future ep (next season?) when he discovers it was his wife. If he thinks he is feeling a bit guilty now...

Hello! So what did everyone think of the last episode?

The return of Jake, yay! Good to see him back, although it does mean Pete from fall out boy won't be in it anymore.
Lucas made the right move pulling out of basketball because of his heart condition, i just hope it won't mean they show even less basketball than they do now.
I was quite surprised that Deb returned as i think i mentioned before. I guess she's needed for future storylines though. I wonder how Dan will react if he finds out that Deb started the fire, like you say happy rainbow. But, also how Karen will react is she discovers that Dan killed Keith, when really it should have been Deb! Ooh drama!

Also, small question, anyone know what that song was that played at the end of tonights epsode. Guessing it's called 'We belong togther'. I really liked it.

hey, I just finished watching season one, a whole season in 2 days:P was great! so i've watched all of season 1, and 1/2 of season 2 and up to where it is on e4 on season 3, but i wanna know did lucas + payton get together again in season 2? i really want them to!! they were so cute!

Wow wee!...and to think that Jimmy thought he'd have missed loads of stuff on here during his short absence from these pages. Damn that DVD Boxset, hope this doesn't mean the end of discussion on here for another season before the season has even finished, Come on people, am sure you can carry the torch of discussion without my useless drivel, Ha! Anyhow to last weeks eppy.
So the return of two of the characters i have to say that i haven't really missed since they went awol in S2. Deb aka. The fugitive and her cocky, listen to me being all philosophical but really i'm just a dude,brother, Cooper. However, whatever my opinions on these two characters are, it should certainly benefit the show as am sure there will be fireworks with these two around. More on Cooper later. The return of Deb has come at dramatic time and Karen was right to snap at her at first thinking that she could just waltz back in and be the shoulder to cry on again, unfortunately though, Karen hasn't really got anybody to turn to, except Deb who shouldn't be trusted after all if Rachel was partly to blame for all this drama for the time capsule release then Deb is up to her feet in it after bailing out and leaving Dan to go on a witch-hunt ending in his brothers shooting to find his attempted murderer. The tension between these three is surely to much to handle and something will give sooner or later but who and what is a matter of wait and see which may be a cliff hanger leading into S4 perhaps. Have to say that it has been refreshing to see a couple of eppys based on the other half of the Scott's, as in Karen and Lucas, as it sometimes can get a little too much of Dan,Deb,Nathan feud partly why even though Nathan and Haley seem quite sickening at the moment, it does balance out nicely since they are usually swamped in Drama. Moira Kelly and Chad, especially in the last few episodes have really stepped up to there characters scenes, even resulting in Karen slapping Whitey. Lucas' journey recently has been a rough one,(with the exception of getting back with Brooke) culminating now with his physicality problems due to his heart condition. I agree with luvpacey, in that it's always good to see the basketball side of the show and hopefully the Ravens games will still be shown. The scene with Lucas leaving the game whilst the game was being played thru the doors was awesome. He has done the right thing as surely pushing himself even more would have been another catastrophy but you have to feel for Lucas and Karen when he confronted her about his secret heart condition. Maybe in this scenario, the show has gone full circle with Nathan back playing being the star man, and Lucas very much on the sidelines and Karen and him feeling very isolated. Wonder how things for them will pan out coming up to the seasons end. Ha, ha, have it Rachel! Play with fire and your gonna' get burned! Please excuse my complete insensitivity to this subject briefly but as Brooke said 'Karma will bite back'. So it was old photo's of Rachel in her youth before the surgery, whoa, didn't see that one coming. You kinda' have to feel sorry for her or anyone who feels the need to undergo cosmetic surgery to make them feel more comfortable/popular, but i guess it's another sensitive subject. I think what Mouth said was spot on about wanting to know and thinking how much he'd have loved that girl in the photo back then regardless of how she looked and thats right, it shouldn't be a case of how you look but how your personality gels with someone else, i guess it's just a harsh kind of insecurity, something which i'm sure we've all suffered from once in a while. Anyhow Mouth got his hopes up and they were dashed once again by Rachel, when will he learn?! Finally, No more Pete in OTH, BOO!Realistically i guess it'd have been kinda' hard, but for a while there i thought that Peyton would fly out to be with Pete, and that we wouldn't see her for a while, which can sometimes happen in shows, what with her having loads of Drama recently, and also Hilarie having film commitments too, but i'm glad she's stayed and that she made the choice to be with Jake, but does that mean that they'll be back in Tree Hill?! Surely! It'll be good for her to have someone to be happy with again, even though i'm a big fan of Peyton/Lucas like lizi!

Oh, luvpacey, the song that was played at the end of last weeks eppy was indeed 'We belong together' by Gavin Degraw, he off of the Show intro song song and also featured in S2. It's not on his debut album so i'm guessing it's off of an upcoming release or an ep. Hope this helps.Bye!

wow its great so much drama,very dramatic, and its currently on the 7th episode.its so great that the oc and one tree hill are on the same time in the usa so one tree hill actully beat oc in the ratings.this really shows that one tree hill has really stepped up in season 4.
o yea tonights eppy on e4 is grea if u lurve nathan .

Hello! Thanks for your review and immense song knowledge Jimmy. I had a feeling it was Gavin DeGraw. I should of recognised his voice after listening to the theme song millions of times, especially with it being on the CD as well.

I assume E4 will show season 4, yeah, rebecca21. I hope its not too long after season 3 ends because i'll definately have withdrawal symptoms. And, Jimmy, I'll still stick around on the forum after season 3 finishes and hope other people will too.

Wow, impressive that One Tree Hill beat the o.c in ratings. I did always prefer it so yay! I'm glad everyone else loves it as much as i do!!
If tonights episode is the one i'm thinking of, then yeah, i agree with you Brucas that it's an amazing episode. And, i do love Nathan so even better!

Reading a few of the previous posts here has got me thinking as well. Who here is fan of Lucas and Brooke, and who Lucas and Peyton??

I'm assuming Jimmy likes Lucas and Peyton, and Brucas, Lucas and Brooke hence the name!?! I'm also a fan of Lucas and Brooke, feel the differences in their characters make the relationship much more solid and interesting. With Lucas and Peyton i just feel it would be brooding overload!

Almost forgot to mention bout Coop and more importantly about Dan after my last post/page,ha! In a few posts back it was suggested that Dan killed Keith purely becuase of his belief that his brother had tryed to kill him by starting the dealership fire/arson, but i believe that this wasn't solely the case. Certainly the timing and oppurtunity for Dan couldn't have been any better to carry out his brothers shooting but i still feel that even Dan would have to reseach the facts a little more before carrying out such a severe act. For me it was a culmination of things stemming back from the last few eppy's before the shooting where Dan was getting more and more isolated. Keith had returned and was getting on with his life and cemented in a family environment, Deb had gone AWOL and his sons were keeping as far away as poss from him. There was nothing for him to thrive on, no puppets to mess with after becoming Mayor of Tree Hill and it seemed like he was losing his grip. As much as Keith seemed the nicer brother, he still slept with Deb, which is the sort thing unexpected from Keith but then who really thought that Dan would shoot Keith. Anyhow, whatever the reasons behind it, it happened, and i feel Deb's arrival will stir things up nicely for the end of the season especially with Coop being around. Can't stand the character but i feel he'll be the wedged awkwardly into this storyline creating even more tension, maybe he already knows Deb was the real culprit!!

Yeah, i guess it would be good to show One Tree Hill weekdays. They did show it at about 3:00 on E4 i think. Not sure if they do anymore. I'm not too bothered beacuse i have the DVD's but for people who don't it would be really good.
I just hope they don't wait too long to show season 4!!!

One Tree Hill is a quality show! season 3 has a pretty gud ending and keeps u guessing 4 season 4 and having season 4 u wont be disappointed! u c more of skills and mouth in season 4 so any fans of them will be happy any more info u want just ask!

Jimmy gettin' slated, I don't think so!!BRUCAS4EVA, Jimmy isn't wrong bout calling the phrase PEYTCUS, as i don't adhere to the rules and ways of the dark side that is the OTH discussion pages on The OC Forum or any other, hence me pretty much permanently residing on these pages!! PLUS... Surely PEYTCUS has more of a balanced characteristic of both their names than LEYTON having mostly all but one letter of one of their names. Ha!, can't believe I just wrote that but still Jimmy's sticking to his roots!!
I do however agree that they should broadcast more repeats of OTH, to allow the chance for newbies to the show to become engrossed from the start. Will gladly sign any petition put my way but have campaigned for this with Ch4/E4 in the past and have pretty much gotten nowhere. It sucks that Ch4 has it favourites but hey ho, in one respect it's kinda' good to be the underdog especially beating them in the recent US ratings, ha! All those viewers can't be wrong!

I think nathan and haley r a better couple but there isnt the entertainment of the lucas brooke and peyton triangle!

hey richard welcome to the board. at last ive found sumbody who is up to date with one tree hill. im on season 4 currently 7th episode and i think its great.its changes dramatically with real life issues brought in. i love skills being there t. him and rachel r now on the opening credits.

Glad to hear season 4 is just as good as the other seasons. Although don't think Jimmy will be very happy about Rachel being in the main credits. Looking back at some of his most recent posts, he is not a fan! I love skills though!!!

Right then better get on with my review of last weeks eppy i suppose. Here goes:
Firstly, I was gutted to see that Karen and Lucas weren't featured in this episode as they went away to 'clear their heads' according to Haley. I guess my theory about Peyton leaving for Pete followed by a break for Hilarie due to her dramatic schedule of late wasn't quite on target but that's what appears to have happened to Moira's and Chad's characters anyhow. So once again the main focus was on the other side of the Scott family. It was however good to see the fears of a lack of featured Ravens games on OTH in the future put to rest with the State basketball comp. Refreshing as well to see Nathan returning to his aggresive ways on the court and off it with his nemesis that in the end wasn't to be from High Fliers. There has been too much schmultz from these two of late in my opinion, even if it does give a refreshing change to some of the dramatic content of late. Good to see Whitey back on song as well.

Dan, Dan, Dan, where do we start? He's all consoling and empathetic towards Deb one minute, that didn't work, so he fires off a round of slates and obnoxious comments resulting in a heated confrontation with Coop, after which he completely flips out at Nathan. He certainly looks like an out of control Dan Scott who's maybe losing his grip a little, but i wouldn't expect it to be for long and his future duels with Coop and Deb should be good viewing.

Speaking of Coop, he's another slippery character whcih explains his attraction to the Queen of Slime that is Rachel, or as Brooke brilliantly said when sticking up for Mouth after finding out about her messing with him, 'If it isn't Jabba the sl*t' and later calling her 'Orga the great'! It seemed for a while there that after Coop found out Rachel's real age and Rachel seemed to realise how she treated Mouth, that they might go their seperate ways and search inside themselves a little, but no, as usual Rachel lays it on and Coop slimelily obliges. It's so harsh because Daneel is an awesome looking girl but Jimmy just can't look past her bitchiness, which is a credit to Daneel as she plays this role very well, too well!

Lastly to Peyton and Jake. Peyton shouldn't have gone to Savannah as it has completely messed with her head, nor should she have gone off with Pete even though that'd have been awesome, she should've have stayed in Tree Hill. It seems her time in Savannah has convinced her that she should not only move there but leave Tree Hill,College, Her friends and Dad behind as well and not forgetting her marriage proposal at the end. NO! Don't do it Peyton. Surely this can't happen, can it?! One other odd thing is how if you coughed during a brief discussion between Jake and Peyton about Jake's life since he moved to Savanah, you'd have easily missed it. It's a shame that the creators didn't bring up this storyline before when they knew his re-introduction to the show was coming up, but still it was good to see him suprise Peyton by fronting his band. That's about it.

Brucas4eva, I'm not trying to get anywhere anyway!, just think of Jimmy as Yoda, an old school but still awesome member of the Jedi clan, and you as Anarchin Skywalker turning to the Dark side,ha! Peytcus beats Leyton hands down, and waiting for S4 will ensure the maximium greatness from the show when it arrives! Kind of like a bottle of wine, the longer it's unopened the better the taste, Ha!
