atk,gd review of tree hill season finale ,as u know i've seen it as well and it was class.roll on year 2.
spad,i've seen most of everwood's two seasons and it's a gd drama,kinda slow moving but well acted so hope u enjoy it

hey spad,i have downlaoded and watched 9 of the 13 episodes of Summerland.Its quite good,not as goos as the oc,and not brilliant,but enjoyable!I like Lori Loughlin and merrin dungey and a guy that used to be in home and away is in it.Its gotten great ratings and has been picked up for another seaosn.im in the middle of downloading episode 10 at the mo!

why is there only 13 episodes of summerland?

i think its becuase its on cable, cable normally order 13 episodes per season (six feet under, nip/tuck) where as terristal do the normal 22-24 episodes per season

no actually summerland is on the WB,not a cable channel,it is on the same network as smallville,charmed,used to have angel and buffy,everwood etc.it was just a summer filler so it was only 13 eps long because the summer was not longer than that.its was out of schedule to pick to up for a full season due to its great ratings which were unexpected so instead the wb have ordered another 13 eps for mid-season(when most networks give their shows a few weeks of a break!

and ye spad most cable shows only have about 13 eps,like Nip/Tuck.and does anyone watch The Dead Zone.It is such a quality show.Downlaod if you can!trust me i have good taste on tv!lol

I dont like 13 eps its abit to short for my liking. I love six feet under but just when the new season launches it seems to end in a flash, more prefer 22 eps per season

oh and i just read on tvtome.com that season 2 of nip/tuck is 16 eps

no thw wb is network regualar tv,one with lower ratings than most,UPN is the only one below it.

i think that in 13 eps it can be better.look at this bit of an article from Zap2it.com on why she likes cable tv.


1. Repeat Early and Often: Even without On Demand cable or TiVo or a VCR, you don't have to worry about missing your favorite show. Cable always repeats and they always run marathons.

2. Less Is More: Most cable series only run for 13 episodes at a time. That means writers, producers and actors get a built in break to recharge and refresh (that doesn't always work, but that's a column for another time).

3. We Don't Need Famous Faces: We merely need charismatic actors who can carry a series. Cable TV has allowed so many people turn in the performance of their careers.

I like many series at 22 eps,but they can go downhill mid-season and near the end unless it is quality.

Check out the article she writes about quality tv.I love the dead zone and i was amazed ti actually gets much better ratings than Nip/Tuck,which I also like.

Still pretty pissed with the WB for axing Angel the way they did. Summerland seems okay - E-Online's Kristin Veich plays a reporter in an upcoming eppisode I heard.

The O.C. is kinda guilty pleasure but One Tree Hill and Everwood - Sorry, not for me but you do have a good taste in televisiontvnuts

ye dark/night the dead zone is very very cool.i have no idea when it will be on Sci Fi,I have been downlaoding them,i have the first 3 so far.

and ye the wb are stupid,if i lived in america i would be boycotting the network,but since i dont it doesnt matter if i download summerland eps or watch a wb show on irish or british tv.

lol,ye you are right there!both of you!but it seems they are nearly on all different nights,and different times of the year.its not like i am in watching tv from moring till night!The most would be 3 or 4 hours in the at night!Im not a couch potato that is overweight from sutting on his ass all day!lol strangly enough i am the skinniest person!lol
