Dark/Light - do you realise you've just spoiled the plot for me and others who don't have E4 and are seeing series 3 for the first time? THINK BEFORE YOU POST!

Hmmm. That's a bit harsh.
Just because you can't resist spoilers, it doesn't mean everyone else is the same. And no, I don't think the trailer last week gave anything away - the last frame showed Nate getting a phone call, it didn't infer what had happened either way.
I haven't read the Lisa thread on this forum either.

Masseuse, I seem to have read your post wrongly - I think Amnesiac did too. I thought you were being sarcastic, sometimes meanings can be misunderstood in cyberspace. I realise you were being genuine - sorry!
I can't believe it's nearly the end of the series!

i thought i'd posted saying that i had mis-read the original post....post seems to have gone walkies...my apologies
That's OK then - I thought I was losing what's left of my mind!
I wish "they" would show SFU again from S1, but I guess we're in for a summer of property shows and imitation of real life (BB etc) ... I wonder if the library has DVDs?
Massaure - Have you tried your local music stores for season one on DVD ? They could be helpful. Any way anyone who has ever gone onto the Six Feet Under Tv Tome website may be delighted to know that I have have reviews for all of seasons one and two and the first two episodes of season three. I'm determined to have all of season three reviewed before E4 repeat the finale. If you see, hope you enjoy. Season Four starts in the US on the 13th of June. Hopefully both Channel 4 and E4 air it the same time like they're doing with Friends and ER.
What a sad(but excellent) episode last night! Ruth's breakdown was brilliantly played, and when Nate's brother and sister turned up at the motel I had tears in my eyes
Wonder what Claire will do about her situation? I didn't see that coming!

Ok The funeral home got a lot of work(three dead people in the opening 10mins!), so Arthur got to help Nate with meeting the deceased people's relatives.
Vanessa is still trying to deal with her clinical depression, and her sister moves in to help her. Rico struggles to cope and clashes with his sis-in-law, especially after she takes Vanessa out shopping with his credit card and buys a fridge and massive TV instead of the pair of shoes they'd told him they were getting!
Russell tries desperately to make up with Claire but she doesn't want to know. Claire has an argument with Olivier at college, then later she feels sick and takes a pregnancy test - it's positive.
Brenda reluctantly goes to see her mum and Billy to scatter her father's ashes. Billy tells her he's in love with her(!) but he tells her he knows it's wrong and wants to get over it.
Nate frantically tries to find out where Lisa is, the police find Lisa's car but no trace of her. Nate stays in a motel near to where her car was found and later Claire and David turn up to offer him some much-needed support.
Ruth tries to keep a brave face about Lisa's disappearance, telling everyone that she'll turn up, it'll be ok etc. But later she realises that something is wrong and breaks down in front of a stranger(a man who was at an earlier funeral and came back to get his mislaid glasses). She cries on his shoulder and the two share a 'moment'.
Ummm, I think that's it - will post if I've forgotten anything

It was excellent - totally surreal moment of awful mother of Brenda and Billy chucking Bern's ashes out of the window. I will never complain about my family again ...
Brenda has a new home, not very lovely, and phoned Nate who snarled at her, obviously she didn't know about Lisa.
Lisa's car had Dr Pepper (and white bread I think) in it, but police didn;t think that was enough to suggest foul play.
Most importantly though, Russell had washed his hair. He hasn't improved much on his technique for getting Claire back although last weeks' "we're both f___ed up so we belong together" was outstanding.
It also looked really good, very moody lighting, lots of dutch-type interiors, as well as all the anguish. And that Maya is fantastic, what an actress, she was being friendly to people and ignoring all the tension.

Damn, how could I forget that, hehe
Thanks for filling in the other bits I missed I loved the surreal bit where Brenda & Billy's mum tipped the ashes out of the window, and Brenda subtly brushing off the sill with her hand afterwards, lol

Well and you wonder what Billy had told her as his explanation of Brenda taking off at him - despite him being on medication!
And of course Claire telling-off Olivier, he's such a hypocrite. Although I guess he was right about greasy-head - it would have happened with someone else.
Hey, all valid points does anyone care where lisa is??? wwhat's happened to her, ssurely she isn't goning to be the dead person at the begining of an episode-that'd be sick!
and what of david adn keith, that preview of next wks eppy, will david really leave keith? for that matter should he leave him??

I know a lot of ppl are saying that six feet under is "dead" (pun intended) and that its not as good as it used to be but after seeing thursdays episode I must disagree.
I was welling up like a bitch towards the end
It seems they saved all the best plot twists till the end, the only thing im dreading is having to wait 6 months - 1 year with the cliffhanger (theres bound to be one) from the end of this series till we get to see series 4
I think Lisa's finally snapped and gone off to live in the wilds. The strain of trying to re-mould Nate followed by giving in, all too much.
David and Keith - they both seem so unhappy and David told Nate he feels better away from him (Keith). It seems a shame after loving each other all that time - but Keith has gone so strange, although all his family stuff ... that's always so difficult for the partner. And of course Keith has lost his path in life.
Baby Claire would be lovely, but Baby Russell!!!
I worry about Ruth jumping from Arthur to the farmer from "Babe" - don't think Bettina would approve.
