Oh bliss! Am having povo moment though, as planning to move. Just cancelled my order for books and S3 DVD. Still, I can dream ...

That is so cool. If I didn't have Seasons 1-4, i'd buy the bloody collection. Those covers are delightful.

So commentaries are for

Time Flies (yay)
The Rainbow Of Her Reasons (yay)
The Silence (not bad)
Ecotone (hell yay!)
Static (yay)
Everyone's Waiting (of course).

Guesss I should start saving for Season 5.

One SFU actor who will have his hands full pretty soon.

Showtime Looks to Make a Killing with 'Dexter'

Showtime has ordered 12 episodes of "Dexter," a show about a forensics expert for the Miami Metro police who moonlights as a killer. But it's okay -- he only kills people who really deserve to die. Former "Six Feet Under" star Michael C. Hall will play the title character.

"'Dexter' is the unusual exploration into the mind of a sociopathic killer -- whom, in spite of his vigilante justice, the audience will find incredibly sympathetic and charismatic," says Showtime Entertainment president Robert Greenblatt. "The power of this show, and the strength of Michael C. Hall's brilliant acting, is what sets it apart from anything else on television."
The show is based on the novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. Emmy winner James Manos Jr. ("The Sopranos," "The Shield") wrote the pilot and will executive produce the series with John Goldwiyn and Sara Colleton.
"Dexter" is one of several series Showtime will roll out in the coming months. Also on tap are a TV version of the public radio show "This American Life" and "The Underground," a sketch comedy show from "In Living Color" veteran Damon Wayans.

I'm trying to catch as many episodes as I can, it's hard with it being on almost every weeknight. I really enjoyed seeing series 1 again, and caught the only ep that I ever missed in series 2, where Nate goes back to Seattle.

I've followed 6FU on and off from the first season but was blown away by the final episode of the fifth and last season. It had me thinking about when I and loved ones shuffle off this mortal coil. Very sobering thought indeed.

EVERYTHING.

EVERYONE.

EVERYWHERE.

ENDS.

I thought the grave headstone was for all five seasons on a DVD boxset.

The special - 2001-2005: In Memorium is on the Season Five boxset along with Life And Loss: The Impact Of Six Feet Under. Big Grin

Yes dark/light thats what I ment. Have you found a write up on it? even the six feet under hbo website does not tell anything also it has 24 dvds but if you add up the box sets that just the same, I was hopping for a special extras disc . I have just got six feet under "better living through death book" it is class is the other book worth buying.

I think Season 5 has five discs with ...

Disc 1: A Coat Of White Primer
Dancing For Me

Disc 2: Hold My Hand
Time Flies*
Eat A Peach

Disc 3: The Rainbow Of Her Reasons*
The Silence*
Singing For Our Lives

Disc 4: Ecotone*
All Alone

Disc 5: Static*
Everyone's Waiting*
2001-2005: In Memorium
Life And Loss: The Impact Of SFU

The episodes that are astericked are ones that have commentaries for them. Frances Conroy does a commentary for episode 6 and Michael C.Hall and Lauren Ambrose do one together for episode 11.

I also have the Better Living Through Death book. I love it. It's easy enough to read, gives you a better insight into the characters and if you didn't like/know about the show, it would be a good way of getting you into it. I wish a second one was released covering Seasons 4 and 5 but I doubt it'll happen.
