A lot of people on this site expressed disapointment with the Life and Loss: The Impact Of Six Feet Under but I watch it last night (after A Coat Of White Primer, Dancing For Me, the 2001-2005 special) and I loved it!!! It was great using various funeral directors alongside the cast and crew for an objective perspective on America's relationship with mortality in society and the media. Even Marc Cherry's comments had a smile on my face because everyone who watches Desperate Housewives can see how SFU influenced it is. Nip/Tuck did a feature on the first season about plastic sugeons but it wasn't as good as Life And Loss IMO.

Well tomoro I will get the last dvd box set season 5, I cant wait but also I feel that this the final nail in the coffin. I feel that there will be no other show on tv ever made that can fill the SFU boots.

Love it, Love it, Love it, season five at last itis mine, I looked at the box set it was so tempting but I did't get it they didnt have one open to look at so I left it.
Watching season five last night I noticed that the title music is slitly diffrent, any one know why they changed it.

I think it was to incoporate Justina Machado's name in the opening credits or something. It sounds cool though.

I watched life and loss, last night I thought it was brilliant! Does any one know what the 1-5 box set looks like inside? is it just the seperat box sets?

I think it is. Episode wise, how far are you? I'm gonna be watching Singing For Our Lives tonight before I watch Alias tonight.

I got Series 3 the other week, so watched that and am now working forward again - noticed that when Ruth is telling the boys about Hiram, she says when they went camping she told Nathaniel that she was going to Sarah's and he never checked. I remember that when Claire goes to visit Sarah, people there remember NAthaniel also being there - maybe he did check, and that's how he had his own weekends away, at the same time as she did?

That's a good theory masseuse and it would make sense. I also notice that while Ruth believed Nathaniel was aware of her cheating on him with Hiram, she was definitely aware of him taking pot. Remember in Season 4 when Claire tries miserably to hide the smell of marijuana and Ruth still got it?

well dark light I have come upto the the final episode! I have tryed to limit myself to an episode a day but it didnt work out so good,lol.
I have been reading some of the stuff from the hbo six feet under form, I think there have a diffrent way of looking at the show? When I got series 5 last week I also got Angels In America it is realy good there is some stuff like six feet under it is worth a look.
Also can I say that the audio commentery with michael hall and lauren ambrose(david & Clair) is real cool and well worth listening to.

I'm gonna watch the final four episodes this week (Doctor Who/Desperate Housewives reviews on tv.com limit my SFU viewing) and then start on the commentaries next week.

People on the HBO forums have been raving about MCH and LA's commentary for "Static" and I can't wait to hear it.

I have Angels In America as well, I bought it last year after Channel 4 aired it. It's fantastic but I only watch per chapter instead of watching the 2 3hour two parters though.

ye its pretty good, I watch the final episode last night agian, what I noticed is when keith gets shot the security van is called charles security this must be his own company. Also I think its funnie with billie with his puppy

i loved six feet under, but hated the times that channel 4 showed it - it was always on really late, and i often missed it, or had to video it.
i ended up missing the very last episode! !

where are the repeats, u wudda thought they'd be on sometime, especially now there's more4 aswell! !

hey eternalsunshine the repeats are on more 4 at the mo, but it is still the first season that is on. I think the reason it was on late is because of the content of the show.
