I taped last night's show, not realising it was a double episode. Of course the tape ran out - I got up to where Shane had killed Lem (boo hiss) and it switched to Vic waiting to meet up with Lem ....

Please can anyone tell me what happened? I imagine that it was a double episode because the end of the series, so it's vital!!!

Well if it was a double bill I missed it too, but thats weird 'cos I've got Sky+ and it records the whole series but it didn't record anything after that episode.I thought it ended with Vic saying that he 'was goin to find the person that did this' ready for series 6.

the person that did this, as in who killed Lem? so i must have been near the end then anyway. Wish 5 repeated as much as Hallmark does!

Yeh, I'm sure that was the last 'cos I've looked @ the Fx website and that was the last listed on there but they have said that there is a 6th series and talk of a 7th!!!

Masseuse, after shane killed Lem, everyone was called out to the scene, including Kavenaugh, Vic went straight for Kavenaugh saying it was his fault, maybe initially thinking it was suicide. while Vic was kicking lumps out of Kavenaugh eveybody just watched and nobody dragged Vic off until Acevader told them to.

Vic gave Shane some funny looks but didn't say anything.

Kavanaugh wanted kicking anyway for pestering Corinne. And leaving his wife.

Can't wait for Season 6! May have to go mad and get DVDs (or go rich)

That was right. And Vic promised to find whoever did this to Lem, Shane looked guilty as hell..

It happened pretty much how Degger said. Here is some more details though. Vic & Ronnie were waiting for Shane and Lem and Ronnie was saying Kav could be at their houses already. Ronnie thought Lem had grassed them cos he was late. Shane then turned up lying that he'd had a tail. When Ronnie and Vic wanted to leave Shane said no and that Lem would turn up.
When they got to the death scene the girl rookie cop was crying really loudly (wailing actually) and saying "why ?". Vic went to touch Lem's face but Dutch said he couldn't because of the evidence. Vic looked like he was about to cry. Claudette & Dutch speculated it was the dudes who had blown up the ATF's (?) cars earlier.
Kav asked if Vic was happy now and then they rolled around the ground a bit.
Vic, Ronnie and Shane marched out and Vic said "we're going to find who did this and we're going to kill them". Shane looked like he was going to puke.

When Lem said Shane's name after the explosion I burst into tears. Bloody Shane. Grrr
Who would have predicted that Kav would go so psycho ? It was so chilling when he went to Corinne's house. I can't believe he let Vic get under his skin like that.

thanks sugar. the car explosions, they'd kept saying "crown vics" or something and I thought it was a gang, but then the same thing was said on another show and I realised it was a kind of car!

I cried as well when Lem was dying - what a horrible death. Found myself thinking "it would have been quicker than that, he didn't really suffer"

I will miss Lem, he was such a good character and good actor too. Although at least Ronnie was getting more lines, none of them pleasant though.

And Shane, the one who screws everything up in the first place, I hope Kavanugh gets him!

Lem was my fave so I will miss him lots too. My dearest wish is for Shane to get what is coming to him. He is thoroughly unpleasant and borderline mentally retarded. Who the hell did he blow to get his gold shield ?

Don't you get the feeling that there is a lot more to Ronnie than he/the writers let on ?

I liked when Kavanaugh was trying to turn him, and pointed out that Shane and Vic had left money trails, especially thicko Shane - if he and awful Mara worked out how not to spend more than they had coming in, they should have remembered buying food etc.

Lem would still be working with the Juvies if it wasn't for Shane and his Antwon Mitchell related twattery. Shane really does need Vic to keep him out of trouble. It was very amusing when he was trying to play the big dog last season and Antwon squashed him like the bug he is.
Is Kavanaugh going to be in the next season ?

Kenny Johnson was in an ep of Smallville I watched the other day. He was playing the baddie. It was quite weird.

Just spotted in next weeks TV listings, Five are repeating the last episode of the last series, for any one that missed it.

what time and what day? its the only one of the whole series i missed!

Its on Fri 22 June, 11.00pm.

does this mean s6 will be on soon?
it's just finished in US.
