Hi everyone, I guess like me you are all dribbling at the mouth for the mere prospect of new Sopranos. Well, as most of us know, season six will begin airing in the states in March, 2006. This usually means that we'll get the episodes over here in late summer/early autumn of the same year - once Big Brother is out of the way. Personally, I can't wait this long and have asked C4/E4 to show the new season as fast as they can, even if that means running during Big Brother's dominance of the airwaves. This is surely possible for such a popular series. They could easily find a 10pm slot on E4 and an 11pm slot on C4. I beg all of you who care as much as me to petition, petition and petition C4 to do this. I live in hope. Thanks.

Good luck, but i'd say, just wait, it'll be worth it. Sopranos is a show for dark nights. I'd miss episodes if they broadcast it over the summer months. There is good news in that its been announced that the next series is NOT going to be the last as thought, and 8 more episodes are currently being written
It actually is the last season,it has just been extended. It will still all be Season 6. If it were an extra season,contracts would have to be renegotiated.
I actually liked season 5 more than Season 4, Steve Buscemi added something great to it,he is an amazing actor. But they killed him off,which I thought was a mistake,as was killing off Joe Pantoliano,even even both deaths were done really well at the hands of Tony.
Channel 4 won't give it a good slot,mainly because the ratings are not good enough. They will give it a good slot on E4 though,so you might want to think of getting it

Channel 4 would really want to get their priorities right for a change. They can't give brilliant treatment toboth Lost and Desperate Housewives and half-arsed ones to shows like The West Wing, The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. For God sakes' even The O.C. gets better treatment and that's one of the worst shows on television.

BUMP! and, please, everyone, email C4/E4 and beg for The Sopranos to be shown as early as possible next year, regardless of their love for Big Brother. Maybe airing the first run on More4 is a possibilty? It certainly meets the requirements for output on that channel.
Missed The Soprano's when it first aired,so it's been great to see it from season one on, 4 days a week. Wednesday will be the end of season 3 though,so does anyone here know when they plan to air sseason 4?

i have been in the states fr the last 2 months and just got back. I have been watching the sopranos season 6, wow there are some interesting twists and turns, you will love season 6 episode 1.
I keep hearing about season 6,everyone whos seen any episodes of it keeps saying its awesome,i like the rest of you can't wait for it to be screened and have sent off my e-mail to channel 4 in the hope that they think again and return it to our screens ASAP
