The biggest question after tonight - just who is the carver? The US boards have been debating this since...about January I think, I have my suspicions.

thought it was brillant how Escobar showed up in Sean's dream surgery, and so funny when he changed the music to "Cars" classic!!!
about time S,J and C finally put their differences aside and pulled together to help Matt but i fear if he finds out, and having only recently discovered about his real father he is going to have a massive crisis in series 3
would they really have helped Ava with the surgery??? did not feel sorry for her though, still manipulating everyone
liked the meal scene - great music choice, and laughed at CT 's lines about helping with the dishes after all the "guests" had gone
S and J so want each other, but you wonder if they got back together if they would learn from past mistakes
and the final shots, the intercutting between SM and CT, didn't expect the carver to walk into CT's flat

This season of Nip/Tuck has been fantastic and last nights episode was brilliant!

As for The Carver, I'm not sure it matters who it is and to be honest, I don't think it's going to be anyone of any importance.

I think the point of the whole Carver thing is how his actions affect others rather than who he is....I could be wrong though

What a cliffhanger ending as well. Brilliant series, I've really enjoyed it and can't wait for season 3 now. I really didn't see the Ava twist coming, that was a real shock, god that woman was seriously demented wasn't she?

im so glad i didnt read any spoilers as the end was shocking in such a good way. i do have to wonder if matt knew the truth would he still want her? Christian was just as shocking too but i dont think he deserved what he got....

Terrific episode though, every quarter seemed to have a new surprise, her, then her husband, then Adrian killing himself.
Amazing cutting with the traditional family dinner scene and Ava losing Adrian.

And yet after all of it, I am still left feeling sorry for her! Anyone else??? Well, now she's got through customs, she can start a new life and that's it hopefully, I don't feel she has a place on the show anymore and if they brought her back it'd be lame. Except for good ole flashbacks of course. Yay for Escobar!

And the fantastic ending, mind you, it's logical when you think about it, Sean would be prepared after one attack (as we know he was) and I did wonder if The Carver would go for Julia to hurt him more, but then what better way to hurt Sean than through Christian. After all, he loved him more, he he.

Well this has been a Sky viewers thread, so alot has been said

**SPOILERS FOLLOW....**

I think that the carver is Bobbolit (sp?). There was no proof he died, he's mentally disturbed, he would now hate the world of costmetic surgery and the main reason; the carver is not a random person - he has a clear knowledge of sedative drugs and knew where both Shaun and Christian lived.
