I know that's your opinion, there's nothing wrong with that.

Hopefully she will grow on me but at the moment I dont like her character.
Listen, truth be told, I wasn't so enamored by the character at the beginning either. But by season's end, I warmed up to her. I think what happens is that a viewer gets used to a certain group of original characters in a series and when that is shaken up some with the deletion and/or addition of a new character, people tend to reject it at the beginning. That's just a fact.
Yeah definately I think youre right. I did get attached to the original group and when Elenas character was introduced I couldnt see the point of it or why she was neededquote:
I dont really pay much attention to her anyways I cant understand a fricking word she says, hence why I think shes pointless
So basically what you're saying is that because you are having a problem understanding her due to her Latin accent, that warrants her being labeled
pointless. Hmm, I'm not touching that one.
What I was trying to say is that I find it difficult to understand her strong latin accent and if I'm being honest most of the time I really cant make out what she is saying. Yet still I somehow can still follow the plot of the episode and figure out what is happening even though I struggle to understand Elena. (I didnt mean to come across ignorant, its just in Britain we dont have many latin actors so honestly as I'm not used to the accent I struggle to understand, just as you probably sometimes do with a lot of british accents)Maybe if you do pay a little more attention, you will get to understand her (if you are serious about it)
I am I love WAT, and I do strain trying to understand her!!. Do you have a close captioning feature on your television set? It helps. Sometimes I have to use it when watching a British program since there are many dialects involved and they can sometimes be hard to comprehend
Yeah thats the same for me with Elenas accent. But once I adapt to a regionalaccent, I don't need the captioning anymore. Maybe that can work for you (if you have that feature). Mind you, I'm not having any problems with Elena's accent, but I can see that happening for some
Its because I'm not used to hearing it as in Britain we dont have many Latin actors with such strong accents as you do in the states.

Tell me do you like every character in every single show you watch? Do you not dislike any characters?
Not always, but those that I don't are but a mere few. When I used to watch ER (when it was actually good) there were a couple of characters that I didn't warm up to, but it didn't deter me from continuing to watch the series at the time
As it hasnt detered me from watching WAT. I wasn't calling for their removal either.
