Well that was a surprise, would never have guessed it was Irina behind Sydney's capture, especially as they managed to keep her return a secret. Vaughn was a dream sequence, but that whole thing with the drink has me convinced someone gave it to him to make it look as if he were dead, it's already been confirmed he will be back after haitus, so he's obviously not dead. Can't believe we have to wait 2 + months to see the next ep  |

Found this article about possible Alias spin-offs. Not sure if I like the baddy idea though. The movie sounds cool though! Wouldn't mind seeing that! The articles here.

Just watched the latest Alias episode and oh my god! I was not expecting Syd to be trapped on a ship! I'm so scared for her! And by the looks of the nursery, she's going to be there a long time. Definitely one of my favourite episodes of the series and it was great to see Jack out on a mission, especially with Rienne. Can't wait for the next one! Ps, Evil Irina, evil!

Does anyone know when the new series will be shown in the UK? Bravo isn't very good at advertising new series and the TV mags don't even care about anything Bravo shows

March 19th - Final episode of Series 4 (so people can catch-up) at 10pm March 26th - Launch of Alias 5. Running Sundays at 10pm, repeated at 9pm Mondays. This is from the Bravo forum and it IS official.

At least Bravo aren't putting it directly against 24 and I'd watch this before Rescue Me.

I don't think Alias has jumped the shark. Its just not as good as it was but still very good watchable TV.
It may be best to finish now as I think it will jump the shark in series 6 or 7 if they had been made.

I think it did a little. The start of Season Five reems of unneccessity IMO but i'll still watch to see how it pans out in the end though.

The new issue of tv and satellite monthlu has confirmed that Season Five of Alias will air Fridays at 10pm with a Saturday 9pm repeat slot from March 24th.

The balck oil did go somehere. It was blood from one of the alien groups that could infect humans through their eyes and turn them over.
The other "eyeless" aliens mutalated themselves so they could not get infected as they were at war with the black oil aliens.
If you watched the show from beg to end you would understand most of what went on in the X-Files.

the black oil saga went nowhere, just led 2 super soldiers arc which was a dead end 2 and killed the x files. has rambaldi done the same?

I think I read somewhere that we haven't seen the last of Rambaldi. I doubt they'd leave without finishing it off.

The ending for the Rambaldi storyline will be dreadful, they should have left this alone after sseason 2
