Its the death penalty ep is it called "Take this Sabbath Day" where Sam gets a call from a lawyer he used to pick on at school whose client's appeal was rejected and he is going to be executed. Sam says it or something very similar in frustration to Leo after ditching his sailing trip to see if the White House should intervene.

Just watching all series again and am up to series 3 where Josh sorts out Donna's little diary misdemeanour.... What a guy....and then in the next ep hes's smooching Amy Gardner.

As much as I hated Amy, I did think he was very sweet and uncertain in those early scenes with her...but I ADORED him in that scene in her office where she took her shoes off and they shared a kiss...yummy...

Okay, how about this one:

I think we should stand by her, too. I just wanted to make sure we were in agreement that that smoked white fish was pretty much on its own.

JOSH: I'm thinking of firing you.
DONNA: You fired me twice already tonight--I'm impervious.

I think this is from the episode where the Chief Medical Officer suggests that smoking cannabis was not so bad. Sam to Toby I think?

Hi, I think that the first quote is from CJ to Toby from the Women of Qumar, I think it's called.
The second one I'm not so sure about, think it's from Josh or Toby.

The garlic and the crucifix...definately C.J.!!!! It's from Shutdown, when she's trying to figure how to spin the debacle with Haffley for the press.

Okay, keeping with the garlic thing:

I’m having my own celebration with five cloves of garlic and the cast of The Exorcist.

JOSH: I'm thinking of firing you.

Heres is another one

The French government offered it as a gift to the White House. I suppose in retribution for EuroDisney.

ooh...good one! It's the posh tour guide who always goes on about CJ's poor taste in jewellery.

Bernard (to CJ): The President, on a visit to the gallery, and possessing even less taste in fine art than you have in accessories, announced that he liked the painting. The French government offered it as a gift to the White House. I suppose in retribution for Euro Disney.

Okay, what about this one:

Okay, but some of those were death threats.

JOSH: I'm thinking of firing you.

Yeah...it's about his foolish idea that he should handwrite Christmas cards to everyone...including all those who wrote to the White House in the past year. Charlie pointed out that some of those people weren't actually writing nice things!

Um... the quote about Margaret may need some thought!!! Wink

This is a great game!
Definately Lord John Murbury to Leo, I think on the day he is appointed ambassador, (The Drop In episode).

OK so this is my first quote - hope it hasn't been done already:
'set fire to the room, do it now'

Hey! Mind if I join in?

"She meant Jewish"...Toby of course. It's the pilot right, when that hussy Mary Marsh says something about "New York types" or something.

try this...

"Get me a copy of the Presidential Order of Succession, I'm gonna show him I'm not scared!"

"Get me a copy of the Presidential Order of Succession, I'm gonna show him I'm not scared"

Isn't this Bartlet to Leo in Gone Quiet - they have to get Albie Duncan in from State to talk to them about the Submarine thats gone quiet near North Korea and Jed thinks he doesn't like him???? BTW love this ep - pure comedy with Jed head bashing on the desk.

How about

"Welcome to the club, partner, we've got jackets"

It's Jed to Danny in The White House Pro Am. Danny asks if he's gonna get in trouble with the First Lady...That was Jed's reply.

How about this one:

Ginger, get the popcorn!

JOSH: I'm thinking of firing you.

I think you're kinda wrong Impervious!!! that actual quote above is Josh to Sam over the phone when Josh, Toby and Donna get left behind in the first episode of season 4.

the one you are think of is correct but I think Jed says "we had some jackets made".

(re-using jokes eh?! scandalous!)

"Ginger get the popcorn"

Toby to Ginger(obv) in the episode when Sam is getting his ass kicked by Ainslie Hayes(damn I miss her) in season 2.... cant remember the name of the episode though!!

ok how about,

"He died penniless of pneumonia after sleeping bundled in wet newspapers in the ruins of his house that burned down, but his music just left the solar system...."
