Yes, it was axed because they didn't think enough people watched it. But then what did they expect, when it was hidden away on E4, rather than being shown on C4?

Unfortunately Hollyoaks:In The City won't be back on our screens for a second series. We're still unsure as to wether Ben and Polly have actually died or not and unless Darren Little comes on and tells us we'll all have to keep wondering. I agree with Emma2711 Leon Lopez is gorgeous - is anyone going to see him in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in Bristol at the end of the month???

ye he did fall in love with his teacher oliver i think he name was maybe i cant remember to long ago ....... i saw it when lisa got kidnapped and she had the gun and when ben ran through the door she thought it was another kidnapper and shot him i was like  i did watch that if they wud of put it on c4 then it wud of got popular but then again sayin that skins was only on e4 and that was popular |

There was a post on here from the production team about this, shortly after it finished, to the effect that Ben did die, but Polly even managed to mess up her suicide attempt!!!(I think it was in the main section, if you want to try and find it, but I'm afraid I can't even remember the title).
