.....I remember when Newt and Lauren thought they had killed Elliot, and Newt said, 'We've got Eli, he can help us', or something along those lines. Does Newt actually know that Eli isnt a real person, or is Eli a real person? Also, i read on here, someone posted that Eli might actually be dead, well.....when Eli first came to Hollyoaks, he was reminding Newt about the time when Newt found that boy that was dead.....could this have been Eli?

I think there's a good possibility that Eli could not be real. There's definitely 'something of the night' about him and opens up thr possibility of Newt being schizophrenic - if Eli were a voice/multiple personality it would correspond well with Newt's troubled background (which don't forget we don't know much about really).

aye the only problem with that is that on Thursday or Friday when Newt was going into the Dog from schoo, Eli was talking to a couple of people...are they made up too, then?
I do like the theory that Eli is just part of Newt' imagination, but there is that to think of.
