basically the whole show is bilge. the storylines are pathetic and totally boring.when the next lot of cast members leave shortly, the lot will colapse in on itself. all the good cast leaving over next few weeks. watch em go!! watch this space. what do you think??
I wouldnt say that the show is boring! The good Characters are leaving/killed off! Maybe though they can bring it another good storyline. Maybe with Characters that don't even get noticed alot if you know what I mean! ...
I wouldn't really agree with you, because whilst is gets quite immature and have some random storylines, they do tackle some key issues which is important. They do seem to be bringing in bad charcters and losing the good ones though. There are definitely some charcters that aren't really main, whom Hollyoaks should either get rid off, or create larger parts for them, because they're just random.
I think they're not creating enough good storylines for characters who have potential, but just aren't being showcased enough. I mean, characters like Michaela and Amy are really weak and boring to watch, whereas characters like Gilly, Jessica and Jeremy could be pretty good if they were given decent storylines. Jez is barely in the show anymore ( which I'm sad about, I loved him) and the whole Gilly/Jessica/Mark triangle is getting really lame and because of the Andy drama and the Justin/Becca storyline, it's kind of faded away a bit. So who does Jessica pick? I wish she'd just make her bloody mind up lol. Oh and Gilly's hilarious, they should give him more funny storylines.
I think that this year will be crucial for Hollyoaks as I cannot see Channel 4 sitting by and not pressurize Mersey TV into doing something since Hollyoaks is no longer in the to 30 programmes for Channel 4.
It may be a while before Tony Woods gets any plans he has into effect since he hasn't long taken over as being in overall charge of Mersey TV's drama output, and it may be a few months before changes he wants in storylines/cast takes effect.
I do think they need to cut back on the schoolkids a lot and intorduce a few more characters in their 20s, and start remembering not everyone whom watchs Hollyoaks is still at school.

they havent got enough creation for 5 nights a week can see it going down the pan and getting a grave yard slot if they dont pick up the pace soon and if it is that div from corrie that took over he hardly did corrie any favours and the new guy that took over from corrie brought back some of the cast that he canned. so ... so much for that loser being good at his job!
They should of never of got rid of lee bombhead zara and even ben! the new crop just arent good enough, with sam and jake both going its going downhill even more! the cameron storyline was good as was andy/sam storyline but everything else is pants! a few new characters are ok ie rhys gilly hannah sarah and even louises husband seems a good new character but the likes of fleth josh oliva jessica are very poor!
