Sinister Niall takes his plan up a notch when he pushes a pregnant Tina down the stairs in a rare uncontrollable moment of rage.
Tina escapes with little bruises to her and the baby but problems later arise when she discovers the full extent of her injuries. It seems that her fall has left her ​ovaries incapable of caring for another baby, jeopardizing her future plans for a family for her and husband, Dom. Will Tina keep the child for herself or give it up to her desperate sister and her partner??
Also, will another of Tina's secrets come back to haunt her and the village? Is the baby really Tony's?

I hope that isn't a real story line as that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. they wouldn't be able to test for ovarian failure that simply and if her uterus wasn't up for carrying another baby then she would have serious complications with this one??????

Why can't Hollyoaks just be simple for once???
It was obvious from the start something would go wrong but I was hoping that Hollyoaks would prove me wrong. I LOVE the show, but please guys! Can we just have some happiness for once????

The only way this could possibly work in my mind is if checking for injury exposed a condition. Something along the lines of those few women born with fewer eggs than most, meaning that she'd go into very early menopause. If she were to find out that she'd only have a year or so to conceive in, and no guarantees, that could lead to a crisis of whether to keep the baby or give it to Tina.

A fall that gave injuries leading to problems getting pregnant, but no miscarriage of the current baby just smacks of deus ex machina.

i don't want that to happen. that's so unfair.

She knows the baby isnt Tonys cos when she went for a scan,her dates were wrong. She knows its Russ"s baby. When she told Jacqui,she begged Tina not to say anything.

i hope that this stroyline isnt true coz firstly it is sad.
secondly one of the other mcqueen sisters has already been told she cant have kids.
lastly would be a boring storyline

Does anyone else think Dom will steal the baby?

I think he will over hear Jackie and Tina talking about how the baby isnt tony's and think its his and steal it when its born

I have to admit im no medical expert but from what i do know, if she had a fall but didn't loose the baby she was carriing then there is no reason why she would not be able to concieve again. Maybe it is that if she carries this baby to full term it my damage her womb in the delivery leaving her unable to carry another child.

This spoiler does seem likely though afer the photo in today's news section with Leah (Tina) in a hospital gown and looking like she has had a nasty accident. Cant wait for the reaction when it comes out about Russ being the father

And is that why theres an emergency enterence to a hospital and Niall whould go to "check up on her".

It is rubbish though like people have said above.

Depends when the story line happens in relation to the Pregnancy. If it's later on then its viable that the baby could become distressed and need delivering, and that could in itself lead to her not being able to have another baby...giving birth is not without risks.

Also i've hated this storyline. I'm VERY pro-surrogacy, i just feel it shows it in a very bad light... i guess thats the point, to show what happens when its not thought through properly. Its just a shame its been done this way

Why can't there ever be a normal pregnancy on Hollyoaks where the baby come out fine and doesn't die or get cancer?

shameless bump.

A little of the topic but Tina had her baby at 30 weeks pregnant yet it didn't need any assistance with breathing it probably would have done as babies lungs are not matured my this age.
Plus the baby looked like it was 3 months old and was able to be taken out of hospital a few days later!
