I think its been played quite well... by andrew moss at least... sinead isnt a great actress tbh...

I never thought it was right for them to be together but I was always hoping that they would come up with a generic story line saying that they weren't actually realted. Becouse incest issues aside they seem so perfect for each other!

There was a documentary on about this not long ago and i although i thought it was sick i also felt really sorry for these people. Alot of them are so overwhelmed at finally meeting each other they confused the feelings of love for sexual ones. Well thats what the documentary pointed at anyway. So yeh thats my two pennies worth

I agree, that they do get confused with feelings of love being sexual ones.
But, they didn't find out they were brother and sister until after thay had sex. So it's hard to comment really.
Also, I agree she isn't that great an actress, although when she was in Drop Dead Gorgeous.

I dont agree with teh storyline but Its somethng original at least, Im not a big soap fan, Hollyoaks was my first soap I watched so if its happend on another then meh.

Not going to mention Beth since Ive already offered my plank of wood solution on numerous occasions and prolly had them deleted lolz The guy that plays Rhys tho has done it well though.

Call me sick but I never wnted them to have the happy ending, at the end of the day its incest and its sick but at least the storyline was interested and different

They did the story line on brookie years ago, but they had lived together all their lifes!

You cant help who you fall for...

It must be one of the most confusing things that people go through, knowing what people will think about it, knowing its illegal, knowing if you have kids there will be a chance its born with problems
But if they can overcome all that and truely love each other
I cant honestly see the problem

i never really like the storyline to be honest and am glad that its over with and im so glad thet they didn't get there happy ending because that would of been wrong.

I know what you mean, like Ive been really hooked on this storyline and my sisters have been like "its wrong" "they shouldnt be together" but they fell in love before they knew who each other were and I cant help but feel sorry for them.

Like Beth said last night to the police "havent you ever fell in love with someone you sholdnt"??

Apparently this whole situation is quite common among siblings meeting for the first time and not knowing they are related.
Something to do with the fact they have similar genetic traits and physical features makes them attracted to each other.

Andrew Moss is a brillaint actor and so is Emma Rigby. They are the best actors out of Hollyoaks. But Sinead can be pretty wooden when she wants to be, I think she is better in Drop Dead Gorgeous. I liked her at the beginning when there was a spark between them but the spark kind of fizzled out between them as the storyline carried on. That's what I think anyway.

I loveed this storyline from start to finish, as for the acting i belived it and loved it by both actors

I loved this storyline, I really did. Liking Rhys/Beth has been my guilty pleasure.

That sounded less wrong in my head, I swear.

But I was in such a grey area with it, because as much as I liked them, felt SO sorry for them, and wanted them to get a happy ending, I knew they were being all illegal and it was wrong and everything. But strangely, I like feeling conflicted. Let's me know I'm still human, I guess.

If it happened with any of my siblings then I'd be shocked but I wouldnt disown them or want either dead like Josh and Hannah have said.

Good enough 4 me I am glad you have pointed out about Josh and Hannah they have reacted pretty badly towards Rhys and Beth. I think for once both Hannah and Josh annoyed me in particular the 2 of them are acting like selfish spoilt brats. Before Rhys and Beth came out Hannah was more than happy to treat Beth like her own sister and the rest of the Ashworths were more than happy to treat her as part of the family to be glad someone is dead is a bold statement and I really think Hannah was wrong to say it. Rhys was more than supportive to Hannah when Melissa died.

Also Josh was out of order saying Rhys was selfish, he is griefing for a loved one wheather right or wrong.

Also why is it every time Rhys goes through a hard time the Ashworth family do not seem to offer any kind of emotional support to him whatsoever take for example when Rhys found out Noel was his father Rhys took it quite badly at first and it was an emotional time for him again instead of the family being supportive all you got was the family ganging up on him and again Josh calling him selfish, how is that fair and yet when Hannah and Josh go through a rough time the family at least try to be emotional supportive?

Anyone else notice this?

yeah,i agree.poor Rhys does tend to get a hard time from his family.Josh & Hannah have been awful to him,i know their shocked but they've gone too far.As for Nevile,he just seems to stand there,looking up to heaven!
At least his Mum didn't want Rhys to leave.

yeahh i thought that sinead was soo much better in drop dead gorgeous. but in that aswell with her it was forbidden love (you know, her and the teacher)

Hmm I think it's sick too, I've just met my half brother for the first time and don't see how people can mistake feelings of love for sexual ones! I was over-whelmed when I found him and we get on great but incest is just totally wrong
