Russ (Stuart Manning) tries to explain to Sophie (Connie Powney) that he only asked Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) out to prove she was a fraud, but is he still tempted by sexy Mercedes? Tony (Nick Pickard) worries that Mandy's (Sarah Jayne Dunn) disappearance is all part of a plan for her and Dom (John Pickard) to be together. And Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies) is mortified when Michaela (Hollie Jay-Bowes) turns the conversation to the subject of sex.

Russ (Stuart Manning) meets Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) for lunch and the sexual tension is obvious. Hannah (Emma Rigby) is determined not to let her mum (Suzanne Hall) throw her gramps (Jim Millea) out of their house, but Suzanne is sick of him leaving the place in a mess.

As Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn) walks along the riverbank to meet Dom (John Pickard), she can't help but relive all the memories of her life here, and wonders what the future holds for her. Sophie (Connie Powney) relishes telling Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) that she's been caught out but Mercedes retaliates by letting her know what she and Russ (Stuart Manning) really got up to yesterday. Max (Matt Littler) feels Clare (Gemma Bissix) deserves better than a registry office wedding but she's determined she doesn't want a big do because of her dad not being there. But Clare slips up when Tom overhears her talking to "Daddy" on the phone.
