So the rumours that have been going round for months that Max is leaving Hollyoaks has finally been confirmed.

So are the rumours of Clare's return true?

Could Max's exit(probably death) be linked to the return of Clare Devine?

What do you think?

I'm gutted that Matt is leaving, it seems like loads are leaving if the spoilers are true!

But would it not be too soon for her to be back in time for Maxs departure?
IF Clare would be coming back i don't know if it will be the same without Max there but i'm sure there would be plenty others for her to tamper with lol

i dont think clare coming back yet cos she got a big storyline coming up in enders

I would love to see Clare come back but Gemma Bissix has an 18 month contract with EE and if she was coming back, they probably wouldnt let her until that contract was over

I would like her to come back before Max leaves but has Max made a new will as if he hasn't then doesn't Clare get everything? which would mean that Tom is left with nothing?

No she isn't.
Max will probably die due to something to do with his heart condition.

Exactly, he has to find out shes still alive or her being alive was just wasted.
Maybe she turns up at the wedding and he has a heart attack.

It would be great it soaps allowed past actors/actresses to come back for one off eps. Like Clare coming back for a one off ep to kill of Max etc.

Plus why just have her turn up and not follow up on it over the few weeks after to find out why she did it?

Max will most likely have a heart attack at his wedding to get the biggest emotional response possible for an exit. Emotions are alwasy high at a wedding, top it off with a well loved character dying... Its a shoe in for good ratings..

she wont come back - lets face it she has more views and a higher profile with EE! I think she is doing better in EE anyway than she ever did in HO

I disagree with that, ok she's got a higher profile in EE but EE fans dislike her.

And as Janine is returning I see Gemma Bissix leaving at the end of her contract, I dont think EE want two soap bitches.

I think that rumour of Clare and Louise dying is false, just made up on wikipedia.

Would be quite good if she came back as they all think shes dead would be quite a suprise! i dont like her EE i dont watch EE but i do know shes called clare and is only after money! dont you think its a bit simular to her Hollyoaks role!

Yeh, she's too similar.
EE need to think of their own ideas instead of copying other soaps.
They only have re-cast Gemma because of her great acting in HO, without that Clare Bates will still go long gone.
