After the HIV thingy, Jess realises she's been treatin Kris very badly and wants to make things up with him, but he isn't interested. Basically, coz she didn't stand by him while he was at his worst ebb.
She even goes to Jack to try and win Kris his job back at The Dog, but when Kris still refuses Jess apologizes, she goes off in a huff. That is when Kris admits he is ready to forgive and forget and apparently, they kiss and make up.
