Kieron finds his friendship with Niall tested after his affair with John Paul has been exposed to him. Confessing that he loves Kieron, Steph assures John Paul that she is the epitome of discretion and in turn asks for his help in keeping her secret about Niall from Max.
Max wallows in self pity over his split from Steph, and even a pep talk from Dominic can't shift his malaise. That is until Steph takes delivery of a bouquet of flowers which clearly have not been sent by Max.
Tuesday, May 20
Niall is angry when he overhears Carmel telling Mercedes that he and Steph shared a kiss but realises that Max finding out might be to his advantage. When Mercedes blabs all in Il Gnosh, Dominic feels it is his duty to tell Max. Max is very upset and refuses to listen to Steph's explanation. As far as Max is concerned, it's over.
Kieron is angry with John Paul for telling Mercedes about their relationship. John Paul's devastated as Kieron admits he's not willing to sacrifice his vocation for him, but they're both unaware that Michaela has heard every word.
Nancy meets Hollyoaks' newest resident and takes an instant dislike to him.
Wednesday, May 21
Steph is devastated after her split from Max and goes to Niall for comfort.
Michaela fishes for information on John Paul and Kieron's relationship, but John Paul is giving nothing away.
Rafi's cocky attitude gets him the doorman job at The Loft. Warren is a little wary of him at first, but he can't help admiring his cheek.
And after Nancy's success on the radio yesterday, Kris gives her another guest spot on the show.
Thursday, May 22
Kieron and Niall put on brave faces as they lament their ill-fated loves. Furious with Kieron, Mercedes launches a full scale attack on him, but John Paul is unimpressed when she declares that she's taught the priest a lesson.
Max slyly talks Dom into going to The Dog for a sneaky pint. As he lists all of Steph's worst faults to Dom, he's unaware that a horrified Steph has overheard him.
Newly employed at The Loft, Rafi decides to drop by The Dog where a stressed out Darren is reducing shifts for his staff. When a nervous Darren shows up wanting payment for putting Jake in the frame for Sean's murder, Rafi realises that life in a small village is more interesting than he expected…
Friday, May 23
Kieron and John Paul's anxiety is somewhat relieved when Niall promises to keep quiet about their relationship. As a pensive John Paul muses the likelihood of keeping the affair a secret to Niall, Myra tearfully confesses to Kieron that she gave up her first born son.
Frankie finds Darren's comedy night at The Dog distasteful given that Jake has just been incarcerated.
Louise returns to the village a hardened woman from her prison experience. But Louise's newfound tough exterior is bruised when she meets Rafi for the first time.

Monday, May 12
Max and Steph's relationship hits rock-bottom as they clash over money issues. Steph takes Niall up on his offer to fix her hair, but Niall spills red wine over her new dress. She puts on one of his t-shirts while it dries, but Max comes in and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Steph calls their relationship off and is devastated as Max walks away.
And as Jack surveys the flood damage, Newt overhears him telling Darren they are not insured and is devastated to learn the extent of the damage he has caused.
Tuesday, May 13
Warren finds out that Louise has been in a fight and is desperate to get her out of prison. He makes Darren an offer he thinks he can't refuse but it seems even Darren isn't that desperate.
Meanwhile, Frankie is forced to face up to the fact that Jake will have to spend the rest of his life in hospital.
Max and Steph try to hide their feelings for each other. But as Max watches Niall comforting Steph in Evissa he worries that he's lost her for good.
Danny realises that he and Neville will never see eye-to-eye, but a loved-up Hannah insists she'll never let it come between them.
Wednesday, May 14
Warren tells Darren that he killed Sean and warns him that Jack will be in danger unless Darren agrees to help get Louise out of prison. Darren tries to convince Jake that he can help save Jack from bankruptcy and Charlie from homelessness if he will just do one thing. But Jake is adamant that Charlie needs him and refuses to help Darren out.
And Elliot can't forgive Sarah for ridiculing him with Professor Kiddle.
Thursday, May 15
Justin promises to back Frankie's application for custody of Charlie if Jake confesses to murdering Sean. But Jake will only agree if Justin promises to never see Charlie again… Frankie tries to cajole a heartbroken Steph into visiting Max, while Jack discreetly pockets a pile of final demands. And Niall persuades Steph to let him practice on her for the styling competition, but can't find the right time to tell her how he feels.
Friday, May 16
Steph helps Niall celebrate reaching the final of the hairdressing competition, but will the sexual tension between them prove too much to resist? John Paul and Kieron head back to Niall's flat for a night of passion, but as they get carried away, things take an unexpected twist.
Louise is released from prison, but refuses to keep a low profile, even when she finds out that Jake has confessed to the murder.
Warren refuses to give Darren the money until he is ready, and Darren worries that Jack is getting worse. And Warren realises that Louise has changed, and he is not sure it's for the better.
Frankie is adamant that Jake is innocent and is determined to get to the bottom of his "confession".
