Thats a bit odd because I always understood that Hollyoaks wouldnt release actors to work on other projects - so maybe he is planning on leaving the show next year anyway

Tonnes of people I know are gonna be extras in that film cause they are filming in Belfast this Summer an they had open auditions last week for it. It would be so cool if he was in it.

ok first off how the hell can you tell he may be in this film?... the film is being made and filmed in belfast but it is set elsewhere... hence the film is "underground" people have not seen sunlight ever.. never mind havin belfast accents.. gerard is a good friend of mine though i know nothing about his career i was speaing to him last nite at the big buzz awards and he seemed to be enjoying himself.. but he gave no hint of either leaving hollyoaks (which i highly doubt) nor starting a new music career.. even though he did do a version of george micheal's FAITH .. which was pretty good..but for frig sake girls.. get over it!
