I heard that Gilly and Sarah get close after Gilly tried to attack that burgler. Sarah starts having feelings for Gilly but Gilly doesnt have them for her. But maybe hes just saying he doesnt because he doesnt want to stab Rhys in the back.

it's the other way round gilly has feelings for her but she doesn't feel that way with him just sees him as a friend
