I thought it was really sad...esp the bit with Justin saying that he hoped Jake died in the mental hospital...mind you Jake observed back that everyone Justin loves leaves him
Back to the point(lol)I thought it was sad when Jake "confessed" to Sean's murder and turned the picture of Charlie over and then the scene of him in the jail just crying
Anyone agree with me this is a sad ending to a great long time character? Wish he was staying
its a sad ending and ive watched the last scene again and i was in tears!! it was touchingly powerful and i really wish that dream sequence at the end could have come true!! poor jake..
I didnt actually find his exit "sad". I mean yeah he was emotional but I was more "this is a lame exit"... Might be just me but his exit felt like a damp squib

Yeah it was emotional and powerful but I agree with Addicted2Heartbreak,it did't feel right after 7 years of Jake for the character to leave like that...maybe if his last scene was when he walked away from Frankie
I guess in Jake's situation there wasn't going to be any huge spectacular exit, but personally as a fan of Jake it was sad to see him go like that
I was expecting him to make a break for freedom, go on the run for a few days, then get caught/arrested and that... or something like that. Not just sayin bye then kicking n screamin
