Monday 12th

Max and Steph's relationship hits rock-bottom as they clash over money issues and Max reveals to Kieron his insecurities about what Steph wants from the relationship. Steph, realising that they need to get back on track, books a romantic meal at II Gnosh and awkwardly takes Niall up on his offer to fix her hair, but is horrified when Niall spills red wine over her new dress. She reluctantly puts on one of Niall's t-shirts while it dries. However, Max comes back with Kieron and instantly jumps to the wrong conclusion.

Although Steph and Niall manage to convince him that it is totally innocent, the couple continue to bicker in Il Gnosh. The row escalates as Max tells an offended Steph that he thinks they should have a pre-nuptial agreement. Realising that he neither trusts nor believes in her, Steph has no option but to call the relationship off and is devastated and heartbroken as Max walks away from her.

Jack and Darren are busy with the clear-up from the previous day's cellar flood. As Jack surveys the damage, Newt overhears him telling Darren they are not insured and is devastated to learn the extent of the damage he has caused. Jack is almost at breaking-point and Darren tries to be strong for his dad, not allowing him to declare bankruptcy; there must be another way! He begs Warren for help, blaming him for their predicament, but Warren has his own problems and although he is intrigued to learn how bad things are, he's not interested in small-fry like Darren Osborne. Is there any hope left for Darren?

With a miserable Elliot wanting to be a normal, average guy and a love-lorn Zak feeling sorry for himself, Kris declares a challenge - Elliot has to ditch the geek and Zak has to find a woman. They agree to the challenge as long as Kris agrees to be tactful for the night. However, all three are struggling to rise to the challenge - until the gorgeous Sam walks into the SU Bar. Kris and Zak vie for her attention but a stunned Zak is the winner and also the only one who manages to complete his challenge – could his luck with women be about to change?

Dom, struggling with his insecurities about Tina's surrogacy, is worried that the village will take him for a laughing stock now the truth's out in the open and takes the chance to open up to a stunned Max, Kieron and Warren. Fearing a backlash, he is amazed and heartened to find that, rather than ridicule him, they admire his bravery. Feeling for him, Tina buys him a model castle and it soon does the trick as, angered by Jacqui booking a holiday for her and Tony, Dom snubs her and becomes engrossed in building his castle, troubles forgotten for the moment.

Tuesday 13th

Warren is devastated when he finds out that Louise has been in a fight and is prepared to confess to get her out of prison. However, a defiant Louise has a better idea - they find someone else to take the fall for them. Knowing he has no other option, a desperate Warren makes Darren an offer he thinks he won't be able to refuse but it seems even Darren isn't that desperate. Meanwhile, Frankie is heartbroken to see the state Jake is in and is forced to face up to the fact that he will have to spend the rest of his life in hospital. As Jack laments Jake's fate to Darren, an idea forms in Darren's mind that could help solve both his and Warren's problems…

Max and Steph try to cover up their feelings for each other and instead of admitting they were wrong, Steph ends up collecting her things from Max's flat. The split becomes final as Steph hands her engagement ring back to a gutted Max but as he is about to go after her, Niall turns up to offer her a helping hand and Max is left wondering if he's done the right thing. His fears seem to be confirmed as he watches Niall comforting Steph in Evissa - has Max lost Steph for good?

Zak is glowing with lust after his night of passion with the beautiful Sam, but just as he starts to think he might be lucky in love at last, he discovers something that could be a huge turn-off. Kris and Elliot make Zak see that he's being shallow - this could be the girl of his dreams!

Realising that they're right, Zak tries to make a go of things with Sam but she's had enough of him blowing hot and cold and gives him the knock-back. The challenge proves too much for Kris and he can't hold back any longer, finally losing his tactfulness and along with it, the bet.

Danny is forced to bond with Neville as Hannah ropes him into helping Neville build a chest of drawers. Danny plays it cool by trying out some jokes on Neville, but it doesn't go according to plan as Neville suggests that Hannah is too good for Danny. A fed-up Danny realises that he and Neville are never going to see eye-to-eye, but a loved-up Hannah insists that she'll never let it come between them.

Wednesday 14th

A nervous and hesitant Darren meets Warren to discuss their plan to get Louise out of prison. With Darren trying to back out, Warren has to step up a gear and reveals to Darren that it was him who killed Sean and warns him that Jack will be in danger unless Darren agrees to help him out. Faced with a no-win situation, a desperate Darren reluctantly agrees to go ahead with their shady plan and, sick with nerves, hides Sean's wallet in Jake's room.

Darren tries to convince Jake that he can help save Jack from bankruptcy and Charlie from being homeless if he will just do one thing. However, Jake is adamant that Charlie needs him and Darren's world collapses as Jake refuses to help him out – his last chance of fixing things gone.

Still unable to forgive Sarah for ridiculing him with Professor Kiddle, Elliot shows no sign of returning to his old self and it looks like his new-found attitude is here to stay. Determined to sort things out once and for all, Sarah reminds Elliot about her own humiliations with her mum's nervous breakdown, Craig's affair with John Paul and Amy's lies about Leah's illness, which touches a nerve with Elliot. Sarah gives him two tickets to the Battlestar Galactica Convention and a touched Elliot asks her to go with him. As he restores his sci-fi posters in his room, it looks as though Elliot's finally back to his old self again.

Nancy and Hannah are feeling positive about the future for the first time in ages but Hannah is frustrated that Nancy still can't forgive Sarah for covering up Amy's lies about Leah. A determined Hannah plots to bring them back together and sets them up with a meeting in The Dog, but her plan backfires when Nancy refuses to talk to Sarah and storms out.

An upset Hannah confides in Danny that she has lost both her best friends now, and, feeling protective of her, Danny angrily confronts Nancy for being so selfish. Realising that she has gone too far, Nancy sheepishly apologises to Hannah and approaches Sarah - the three friends are back together again.

Danny can't wait to tell Hannah about the stand-up comedy night at The Dog that he's going to volunteer for. He reckons he'll be a natural but Hannah isn't convinced and secretly hopes he'll back out. But as Danny becomes more and more enthused, Hannah confides in Nancy that it is his dream to be a comedian and she doesn't know how to tell him it's not going to work. Will Danny be able to prove everybody wrong?

Thursday 15th

Warren is ready to admit defeat in finding someone to admit to Sean's murder to save Louise. Justin tries to convince Jake to take the rap but Jake quickly loses patience with him, assuming that he's come to gloat. Justin manages to intrigue Jake with an offer he can't refuse, promising to back Frankie's application for custody of Charlie if Jake admits to murdering Sean. As Jake considers this, he has one heartbreaking condition for Justin to meet before he'll agree… Justin must promise to never see Charlie again.

Unaware that Justin is securing their freedom, Warren asks Darren to get Sean's wallet back from The Dog so that he can hand himself in to the police. As Justin reluctantly promises to sacrifice the most important thing in his life, Warren prepares to sacrifice himself for the woman he loves…

Frankie tries to cajole a heartbroken Steph into visiting Max, while Jack discreetly pockets a pile of final demands. He asks Steph to contribute to the household but Frankie is riled by his insensitivity, leaving Jack resigned to his debt-ridden fate. As Darren voices his concerns about their mounting repayments, Jack insists that it's none of his concern. But when a distressed Frankie arrives and announces that her credit cards have been refused, it's obvious that Jack's debts are out of control. Jack tentatively approaches Frankie to confess the truth, but as more bad news arrives, the future looks grim for the Osbornes…

John Paul takes full advantage of Myra being at Nana's for the afternoon by inviting Kieron round for a snogfest. Niall jokes to Kieron about the idea of power in relationships, which echoes later in conversation with John Paul. But it's a short-lived moment of intimacy for them when Myra arrives home early and cracks out the baby photos. As Kieron enjoys feeling in control of their relationship for once, John Paul glowers as the guilt of lying to his Mum weighs on him heavily…

Niall bumps into a down-beat Steph and manages to persuade her into letting him practice on her for the styling competition. Just as Niall moves in for the kill, it seems that fate is against him as his efforts to woo Steph fail miserably. Niall's gutted when his charms seem wasted, and it seems impossible to find the right time to tell Steph how he feels…

Friday 16th

Max and Steph are struggling to come to terms with life without each other and each try to put a brave face on things. Steph helps Niall celebrate reaching the final of the hairdressing competition and, sensing how down she is about Max and life at home, Niall takes the opportunity to flatter her ego. A depressed and lonely Max seeks solace in Dom but it only serves to make him realise what a mistake he's made as he sets about trying to win Steph back.

However, Niall's compliments reach out to a disillusioned Steph and the sexual tension between them proves too much to resist… Meanwhile, boosted by having spent a fun-filled day together, and knowing that Niall will be out, John Paul and Kieron head back to Niall's flat for a night of passion. As they get carried away, however, there's a shocking discovery in store for all concerned …

Louise is released from prison, but Warren isn't expecting the reaction he gets from her when she refuses to keep a low profile, even when she finds out from a demented Frankie that Jake has 'confessed' to the murder. Warren is surprised to learn that Justin was the one who came through for him in the end and is taken aback when Justin wants nothing more to do with him.

Caught off-guard when Darren demands he pay up, Warren snaps and refuses to give him the money until he's ready. As Darren frets that his plan is falling apart and Jack is getting worse, Warren realises that Louise has changed, and he's not sure it's for the better…

Frankie is adamant that Jake is innocent and is determined to get to the bottom of his 'confession'. Heartbroken after seeing the level he has been forced to sink to and her family collapsing around her, she vows to Warren and Louise that she won't rest until she gets to the bottom of it – it's not over.

thanx! louise must love warren a lot if she gets beaten up but still doesn't let him confess!
