Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian clumsily spilled details of her characters departure from the famous Chester village. Bastian who plays naughty ex-teacher Becca Dean let slip that she will die when separated partner Jake Dean (Kevin Sacre) drives his works van off-road after tricking a heavily pregnant Becca that her current school boy lover Justin Burton (Chris Fountain) has been taken to hospital. “Becca will be under the impression Justin has been taken to hospital by Jake, but he wants to talk to Becca on his own, away from Justin” she says. “A little argument ensues and Jake loses control of the wheel and we both topple over, it was fun to film a memorable finale, I don’t think I should have said that!” she laughs. Fans will have to see what happens to Jake and her unborn baby but Ali did leave this parting shot “The baby will fall into the right hands” the scenes are due to air sometime in October.
i don't think thats true because kevin sacre said in an other interview that they are gonna start filming the christmas scenes and if tht airs in october the maths don't really add up and ali said she can't wait till the bump is gone so a don't think it's true but i could be wrong.

hmmmmmmmmmm so from dat i take it that jake doesnt die from the explosion, coz didnt they say they have filmed 2 endings and one is where jake dies n the other is where he doesnt.
yeah it looks like it, a mean ali bastian talks s*** sometimes and this wouldn't be the first time she lies. No offence to ali a mean she is a good actress but i mean c'mon why get us excited for nothing?

It could be true though - the most recent inside soap mag said there was a huge twist to the love triangle with Jake coming up. Ali added in the mag that it was going to be very traumatic, with lots of tears. And as for Ali! - what reason would she have to lie? That and the fact that she doesnt get to write the scripts - all the storylines are down to the writers.
If that is true, then how unlucky is Justin? His step brother died, his sisters die and then Becca might die. If that was a real person he would kill himself!

Jake involved in two car crashes this year where two people apart from him die! Can they (producers) not think of another storyline that does not involve Jake and his van!
...and surely they can't have deaths occuring here there and everywhere?
I don't honestly think Becca will die because she has reason enough to leave anyway. There's another thread here about the baby having a "surpsrise" father lol, and if that were the case then she would leave after that wouldn't she?
