Im getting surprises for Christmas as I was 'unhelpful' with suggesting things...
My Mom is coming over from Sheff - me, 'the Boy', Moo and Mimi (kitty) will be having a relaxing Chrimbo... we might pop to the beach for a quick stroll...looking forward to it...
New Years Res are going to a bit tough (dont smoke or drink) so I'll have to go for quitting finger chewing, makes 'the boy' squemish (one reason for doing it the first place... Mwahahaha) but its not very lady like or especially attractive. Ive been told scabby fingers can look, on occasion, a bit grim.
Yep... Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year everyone... Especially Davina, Fay and Chris who have worked so hard to make the site so much fun and the phenomenal success it has been over the past 12 months...
happy xmas everyone! i'm spending xmas in norfolk with the folks which will be all open fires and hot ginger wine etc. then a wild new year in london. i absolutely can't wait, i spend most of my time happy about the tinniest thing so at xmas i go into overdrive. in terms of presents i've asked for suprises so i should think it'll be hats and costume jewllery which is great. also i'm going to work hard on ideas for this online magazine, fay suggested 4laughs might be able to help out too. definitely have to include at least one online sitcom...get writing everybody!
oooo i bite my fingers, is it that repulsive? i'd bite my nails too but they're always painted. just realised i've got another review up on 4laughs a day...makes me very happy. jingle bells, silent night etc 4 days to go
whatever help you need, i'm here...as i'm sure we all are. i have to agree, i only started posting here a couple of weeks ago but i've really enjoyed feeling a part of it. best of luck to you mouse. btw a friend of mine found that by turning a little bit towards vegetarianism she lost a lot of weight(that's not for everybody though).
oh whereabouts in norfolk sabriel? it's where i was born and raised. small animals are probably fine mousevale (AKA Phil). in fact don't quote me but i think gillian mckeith has a recipe for a hedgehog and aduki bean smoothie if you fancy it?
Massive support for your efforts, Mousey - I shed three stone by cutting out bread (and ate less potatoes) - found it worked for me as long as I still had filling stuff at lunch so that there's better willpower at the end of the day (that's when the old blood sugar level drops, innit - just when you've got in from work and look at the fridge / supermarket chiller cabinet).
Hope you don't mind me saying that, just wanted to share my experience.
Wow 3 stone I dream of losing that much well done.. never offended by constructive advice appreciate help from any & everyone...
I fully intend to moan groan and kick things around on here whilst trying to lose weight next year, I also intend to squeeze as much info about you all in an atempt to have some small success next year,i.e. learn from any mistakes and gain from any experience.
My Dear old dad was born In Norwich, and I just found out one side of my family came from Ilketshall, what a small world... (mind you I live in Torbay) I don't eat much (since this morning anyway) so I would be easy to look after and if you get me a red coat and a white beard I could be useful in other ways ho ho ho.....
Merry Christmas from me too. Wow Doc Vole - well done. I am joining Mr Mouse's dieting campaign so there will be less of both of us by the end of next year. I'd just like to give everyone a Don't eat it all at once.
* * * * * * * * Half the lies I tell are not the truth anyway
Well good luck to you all because when the Turkeys decide to hit back Norfolk will be the first to fall. The wobbly rednecked foul will dance the streets carrying aloft Bernard Mathew's severed head gobbling with fury...possibly...I dunno...just in case there's any Turkeys a reading this I'm having beef this christmas! (what's that infernal mooing at my window?...)
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone, both members and staff.
Mousevale - I'm in your boat to. I always lose weight if I quit alcohol as I am allergic to it. I have lost 3 stone twice, and gained it back twice! It is keeping it off for me.
We can do it!
Merry xmas!
Shooting fish in a barrel is actually alot harder than you'd think.
Merry Christmas you lot. Mine is just starting to look up, so I'm not feeling so "bah humbug" now. Looking forward to the New Year, got a few projects on the go. Really appreciate being with like-minded souls on the site. Anyway, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
