Saw this on the homepage just now and wondered what it was all about so clicked immediately... Apparently the team are going to be attending lots of comedy festivals around the country over the coming months and reporting back from them and offering tickets etc...

I think the fact they're even mentioning stuff that's so far ahead probably means the future of the site is assured... So we can breathe a sigh of relief - all is definitely right with the (comedy) world once again... Cool

It's a good initiative and does bode well for the future but they should be able to answer one simple question:

What is 4laughs for?

At the moment I am seeing mixed messages.

Am trying to be positive but any really experimental stuff often gets deleted from the forums, the competitions are so dormant they still display the results of one on the front page that ran in July.

Anyway moan over. am really trying to take part and help the site along. Honest.

The comps issue is certainly a strange one, but I'm sure all will become clear eventually... It says in The Blog there today that the new features are coming "in the next few days" - so I guess that means Monday... Wahey... Smile

It's that interactive cartoon, I bet, that's done it - and the logistics of working out how to run and edit it all... Should be exciting, though, whatever's in store... Cool

In my case, they're already beginning to succeed - I watched my first Tom Cruise movie earlier this week.
