Howdy guys!

Right, first things first… ANYONE can take part in this!

The Comedy Report is changing… the layout, the presenter and the content is all having a revamp to be bigger, better and more 4Laugher friendly.

This email I’m sending out is aim directly at the 4Laughers who received a webcam at Christmas. It’s time to crack them bad boys open! But if you didn’t get a webcam you can join in too! We insist!

For the new Comedy Report we are taking reviewing to a grassroots level, where the comedy community lives. You guys are the ones that have proven worthy in the past of producing some of the best quality reviews both written and videoed. So, we want you to start the ball rolling and continue making what your good at.

Our aim for the first Comedy Report in the new style is to get short 20 second reviews of the Comedy Report content. For the first one we need the shows below reviewing. But they don’t tickle your fancy, we also want you to create your own reviews of local stand-up comedy in your area, virals, current TV shows, current films, books, audio CD’s, DVD’s etc…

We want to encourage you to be adventurous with your reviews!

Try filming outside, in different rooms, as your walking, on the beach (if it’s not too noisy) … You get the idea! As long as the sound is good, anything goes! (No nudity though guys… I’m going to be married soon…)

As I said earlier, anyone can have a go! We really want you to get creating! You can film the review on a camera, webcam, or phone – as long as the sound is good, we’ll use it!

Wow, this sounds super - exactly the kind of thing that works so well on the web now... Basically the content people usually would've got from a traditional (printed) entertainment magazine, but visual and in bitesize pieces...

I like it... As it happens, I already have one about a current film - so I'll send that one first...

Yep... Tried it a few ways now - I think the email account itself caps attachments at 10mb by the looks of it (or it could just be busy servers)... But I'm not beaten yet...

I'm not totally sure what etiquette is here but as the topic is about braodcasting on the web I just wanted to mention that we are doing live broadcasts of all our Brighton Festival Fringe shows online through a nifty thing called Selfcast. I dont think i can post the url but our channel name is EML (electric mouse live) electricmousecomedy. It would be great to get some online particaption with the shows going on as we want to do improv with the audience.

Sorry to upset anyone if this kind of thing is not allowed Hope to hear from some of you anyways
