Carla is furious about being ousted from the factory and complains to Michelle that her brothers aren't as snow white as they seem. Confused, the pretty pint-puller questions Liam, who accuses Carla of trying to cause trouble.
Michelle is unconvinced and gradually wears Liam down until he finally reveals what happened on the night of Dean's death. How will his stunned sister react?

Back at the Barlows' Deirdre continues to chainsmoke while Ken makes a last ditch effort to save their marriage. However, the bickering begins even before they've finished eating and it looks like it could be the end of soap's most enduring love affair.
At the Duckworths' Molly makes an enemy of Jack when she gives Vera a baby monitor. Now the poodle-permed pensioner can corner Jack whenever she want's. Michelle is horrified by Steve's attempts to kiss her and storms back into the bar. The bumbling landlord, however, is devastated to think he's blown his chance and tries to talk her round. Later they clear the air, and Michelle finally opens up…
