I just read in a tv mag that Eastenders is going to be competing with Corry and is going to show on Wednesdays aswell as the other days of the week!

It always get back to square one, ya know.
EXAMPLE : When Honey had the baby and then said she didnt want ti cause she had Downs Symdrome and then said she hated it and needed a break with her Dad. THEN she goes back off, being happy with the baby.
See? Square one

They can be avoided to be axed!!! I like Eastenders but i have to say they HAVE gone down in standards, they really need to sort out their storylines. Seriously.

Great, this means that they'll put a lot of money into producing a 5 day soap, which will fall flat on it's face coz they haven't enough imagination to keep audiences captivated for their current thrice a week efforts and it means the show will finally be axed.

I used to be such an avid EE fan, but they've completely ruined the show. How they're winning awards and claiming such high viewing figures I'll never know.

I agree with you totally. Whenever I look at ratings in heat magazine it says that EE is number 1, yet look on the official BARB website and it's nothing of the sort. Corrie beats it. And when EE and Emmerdale go head to head, Emmerdale always wins.
As for it always winning at the awards for best soap, well that's laughable. The show has been in trouble for a few years now and I honestly think that if it goes to 5 a week then that will be the final nail in the coffin.

It is on too much now. Instead of looking forward to it, it is almost a chore now.

Are Soaps cheap telly? Even with the salaries they pay?

I know! It's a mystery. I wish BBC would just pull it. I know a lot of people didn't like Pauline, but it really was the producers that turned her from a real family woman into an overprotective psycho. Now apparently Jim and Dot are to do a Madonna-esque adoption. It's just ridiculous.

Sorry to go slightly off topic but I've been racking my brains since Stella joined as to what I've seen her in before, I realised last week she was one of the bridesmaids in the first wedding in Four Weddings & a Funeral. Then I had the eventual sense to 'google' her and found out that she's Emma Thompsons sister - well I never !!!!
