'EastEnders' market trader Martin Fowler is set for a sizzling summer of love.
The hunky greengrocer, played by James Alexandrou, is set to become romantically involved with sexy mechanic Carly Wicks and racy barmaid Dawn Miller.
Martin has been left an emotional wreck by wife Sonia, actress Natalie Cassidy, who dumped him to begin a lesbian affair with student nurse Naomi Julien.
However, he soon forgets about his estranged spouse as his love-life takes a dramatic turn for the better.
A show insider told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: "Martin is an attractive man, and there’ll be plenty of interest now that he’s back on the market. A couple of girls will spark up his interest and he’ll end up in bed with at least one of them.
"Carly will be first on his list. She’ll comfort him when he turns to drink and they’ll become really close. Sonia will soon be just a distance memory."
