The story line doesn't really bother me, what does is there always has to be sadness or a marriage breakup in order to get the story across..

Why couldn't a gay character come on the square( not literally) and turn down the guys saying no she is a lesbian, abd be proud of her sexuality..itstead of trying to hide it, anyone would have thought we are still in the 60's
