I know I have noticed that myself but I think they are getting rid of some of them

it goes through phases doesnt it depending on who the storyline is around.
honey and billy had theirs recently about being homeless and the baby storylines. and jason and jay had theirs also with jases secret and jay being bullied etc x

Am I the only one who thinks that Mario and Lisa are like the seagulls on Creature Comforts?
theygive all the characters storylines but they also involve others in little small comedy storylines of just let them be involved more than just once ever three months or so
i think eastenders gives characters a couple of months off after they have big storylines as the hours they work are so long and like 6 days a week. thats why we dont see the characters for some while i think its schedualed leave

Yes but, the Patrick and Yolande thing was actually months ago!! Big Mo and Charlie are always in it yes, BUT when did either of them have a major storyline? YEARS back!
And fair enough about the Jase, Dawn and Gary thing. Twas not me who listed those characters anyway

patric and yolande had the storyline about patric being attacked, garry has just been involved in the wedding storyline plus had big storylines in the past with lynn and the slaters, and again mo has had major storylines in the past when the slater girls were in it.
dawn was at the centre point of a huge storyline last year involving her pregnancy and the mad may thing! and gary was involved in the love triangle with dawn and the banker rob
i think ee just runs out of storylines for people and the character runns there course. Also if you remember the mitchells were out of ee for a long long time and other characters had big storylines. i think ee have brought the likes of ronnie roxy and jack in to focus on the mitchells again but rejuvinate them a bit, and give other characters like dawn, gary, mo etc a rest, and ensure a mix of characters have big storylines :-)
i agree, i have tried to explain this aswell, but its one of those threads where if you don't agree with the subject you are wrong and rude apparently!
