25th AprilLisa finally confronts Rosemary and accuses her of sleeping with Zak. She admits her fears that Rosemary has usurped her role in the family before physically attacking her. Zak breaks up the action and Lisa heads back to the Dingles for a blazing row with her husband. Belle urges Rosemary to rectify the situation and she persuades Lisa to clear the air. Lisa is eventually convinced that Rosemary's intentions towards Zak and Belle are honourable and she spends the night alone with her husband. Will Rosemary find a solution to her loneliness?
Meanwhile, Rosemary is visibly shaken following Lisa's attack and Grayson steps in to protect his mother from Matthew's taunts. Once she has calmed down Gray prepares to ask her for betting money but is interrupted by Belle. Hari is anxious that they have no money but Gray is surprised later when Rosemary stumps up £15k. Will Boomer deliver on the investment?
Elsewhere, as Viv alters the Christening theme, Ashley unsuccessfully tries to bring her back down to earth. Undeterred he asks Laurel to help and the two of them talk up the advantages of smaller Christenings in Viv's earshot. His work appears to pay dividends when Viv agrees to tone things down, but Donna steps in and encourages her mother to make the Christening big, bright and tacky!
26th AprilLouise fears that Boomer will be tested for drugs before his race, but Gray is delighted to learn that Boomer's odds are long, giving him and Hari the opportunity to make a fortune. The race begins well for Boomer but three fences from the end it pulls up lame, devastating Hari. He spurns Louise's attempts to comfort him and faces a demand for the £15k from Gray and Rosemary. Can Hari lift himself out of his financial quagmire?
Elsewhere, Val is miserable when she finds Paul and Diane modelling their outfits for Sharon's wedding. Rodney recognises Val's pain and offers his sympathy, vowing to unite mother and daughter. Will Rodney's powers of persuasion break the deadlock?
Also, Bob battles against rising Christening costs and tries to convince Jamie and Kelly to contribute instead of buying a present. He later rejects Eddie's offer of financial assistance but is forced to reconsider when Viv makes further demands. What more can Bob do to fund the Christening of the century?
27th AprilRosemary forces Gray to tell her everything about the horse scam and it gives her a brainwave. She visits Hari offering to write off the debt for a small favour. Hari is intrigued and goes to Home Farm to learn more, only to be confronted by Gray. Gray tells Hari that his end of the deal would involve testifying against the Kings, thus implicating them in Tom King's murder. Is Hari prepared to lie to save his own skin?
Meanwhile, Rodney and Paul plot to heal the rift between Val and Sharon and Rodney invites Sharon for a drink in the Woolpack. Val tries to lay on a guilt trip but Sharon is unmoved and instead things degenerate into a huge row. Paul steps in and begs them to reconcile. Sharon caves and agrees that Val can attend, but how long will the truce last?
Elsewhere, with the rest of the village seemingly disinterested in building floats for the pageant, Betty, Pearl, Sandy, Len, Turner and Edna decide to make their own. They struggle for any decent ideas and finally settle on a futuristic float. But will it be enough to take first place?
29th AprilWhen Hari is summoned to Home Farm by Grayson, he is instructed to tell police that he overheard all three brothers talking about how to get rid of the murder weapon when they stayed at Dale View on the night of Tom's death. Grayson further insists that Hari get somebody to back up his statement. Turning to Louise Hari shocks her by relaying the false story. Is Louise willing to go to extreme lengths in order to support her boyfriend?
Meanwhile as the costs of the Christening continue to rise, Bob throws caution to the wind and continues to splash out on the big day. Is his exuberance about to lead him into trouble?
Elsewhere, Laurel is obsessively cleaning, determined to impress her parents, but Ashley confides in Emily his worries about his wife's unwillingness to relax. When Emily lends her support and pitches in with the cleaning, both Laurel and Ashley are grateful for her help. Are her motives purely honourable?
30th AprilLaurel is beside herself with nerves as she prepares lunch for her parents and when Ashley invites Betty and Sandy to join them, her anxiety rises. An unexpected visit from the Bishop, leaves Laurel with yet another mouth to feed and with literally too much on her plate, she begins to panic. However the lunch goes well and later as she and Ashley toast the day, their relief turns to distress when the police pay a visit…
Meanwhile, the pressure of organising the christening starts to take its toll on Bob and when Viv swans off shopping leaving him to babysit, his stress only increases. Panicking about his financial situation, he makes a phone call about a loan but is astonished at the cost of taking one out. As the pressure increases, can Bob hold it together?
Elsewhere, Rosemary is annoyed that Hari has enlisted an unsuspecting Louise to corroborate his story and refuses to pay him until the King brothers are behind bars. Has Hari bitten off more than he can chew?
1st MayThere's panic at the Hopes when news of Ashley's sudden departure filters through, leaving no-one to conduct the Christening. However there's good news when the Bishop steps in at the last minute. However as one problem is solved, another crisis emerges when he's horrified to discover that Kelly's picture has been used on Dawn's new headstone. He is further mortified when he realises that the mistake is all his fault and when forced to hand over the Christening money to rectify the error, can anything else go wrong?
Meanwhile, as Laurel keeps vigil at the hospital, it transpires that whilst her dad Doug is making progress, her mum Hilary remains in a coma. Will Laurel ever get the chance to repair their relationship?
Back at the village, Scarlett seems to be making progress with Daz when he invites her round to teach her how to use her mp3 player. However when she realises she already has plans with her mum that evening, she invites a reluctant Daz for a meal with the two of them at the Woolpack. His mood soon changes though when he realises Louise will be joining them. Is Scarlett ready for the competition.
2nd MayAs the Bishop stands in for Ashley at the Christening, he is alarmed to find 9 godparents gathered in the church. Bob continues to be beset by problems and ropes Marlon and Terry into finding a cake. Realising that he doesn't have the money to pay the caterers, florist, sculptors and bakery, Bob goes into meltdown. As he stands at the font he flips and dashes out of the church and runs away, with Jamie hot on his heels. Has Bob left yet another family in the lurch?
Elsewhere, the King brothers are stunned to hear Hari and Louise will be testifying against them. Knowing they must be lying, Matthew confronts Hari and demands to know who put him up to it. Will Hari crack and reveal all?
Meanwhile, Carrie is shocked to hear of Louise's evidence, and warns Jimmy to keep away from Scarlett as his future looks so uncertain. Is Rosemary's plan coming together?
3rd MayJimmy suggests to Kelly that they try and help find Bob for Viv - his true intention to go on the run ahead of Kelly's hearing the following day. Oblivious to his plan, Kelly agrees to go and packs a bag.
Meanwhile Jimmy pays Scarlett an emotional visit to say goodbye, the former not realising his intentions. A stunned Carl catches him leaving and fails to dissuade him from going. Could this be the last we see of Jimmy and Kelly?
Humiliated that Bob has done a runner, Viv lies to the disbelieving villagers that he's away on business. Whilst a sympathetic Donna attempts to support Viv at home, Jamie is busy trying to convince Bob to return home. Are the Hopes heading for their second divorce?
Elsewhere, Laurel's worried to find her dad's hospital bed empty and freshly made. However she's soon relieved to find him by her mum's bedside. Seeing how heartbroken Doug is by Hilary's condition, will Laurel choose to stay and support her father or put Ashley first?
4th MayThe villagers continue to discuss Bob's disappearance and with Kelly's hearing that day they begin to wonder where she and Jimmy could have vanished to as well. Meanwhile, the couple arrange to buy fake passports but are conned by the unsavoury character doing the deal. After a confrontation, Kelly has a change of heart and tells Jimmy that she can't live as a fugitive. Will Jimmy head off into the sunset alone?
Meanwhile, Eli finds Billy a job stacking shelves in a Sheffield supermarket. Desperate for work, Billy has no choice but to accept the job and consider making the move. Is the writing on the wall for Billy's attempts to solder the relationship with his sons?
Elsewhere, news of Laurel's parents' crash reaches the village and Edna and Betty are surprised to see Ashley return alone. Meanwhile, Emily is concerned for his welfare. Is she a little too eager to step into Laurel's shoes?
