Non-celeb goes on Celebrity BB, so becomes a celeb by being on TV and wins the game show, too. I had heard of Baywatch, Goldie Looking Chain and (vaguely) The Ordinary Boys but never knew that Traci, Maggot and Preston were in any of those, uh, things. I only had BB's word for it that were celebs - for me, they were as unknown as Chantelle.
As a kind of balance, will BB7 include a former celebrity (maybe a child star or someone from a forgotten band or an ex-sportsman, now barely recognisable from the height of their fame) and a task be for the others to find the (ex) star?
I was listening to the radio today and Ed Byrnes said that Celebrity Wife Swap had Jade, who was a celeb because she'd been in a reality show, and Celebrity Fit Club had the Bardsley woman, whose claim to fame was she'd been in a reality TV show. So celeb TV was feeding off reality TV.
He said (funnier than I probably put it) that the British Farming Industry tried a similar thing a few years ago and this led to mad cow disease.

there has already been dan bryan (gandalf the gay) he was in a band when he appeared on BB5, so you could say he was as much a celeb as preston.

it does worry me that "celebrity" reality TV shows feed off the "celebs" created by other reality TV shows, that being said ex reality TV stars, are hte prefect fodder for these kind of shows, for them its almost a step up, and not like admiting there career is over.
