She's 5 months old and is good at sit, paw, lie down stay and in the house but as soon as we take her out she chooses when she does anything. she occassionally sits despite there being reward of turkey she's just not bothered. She will never come when called which is the big problem as i'd like to let her off the lead. Anyone with any bright idea's as i have tried all that have been offered so far?
Get the phone number of a local dog training school.
Take your dog there.
They will help you train yor dog, as well as any other pure bred, pedigree or mutt.
Advice I`ve given in virtually every thread where people are unable to get their new pet to do anything.

Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.
I wouldn't worry too much if your Beagle isn't returning to you when called, as usually Beagles can take a VERY long time to learn the recall command.
Beagles are sniffer dogs, so they will follow their nose and when they catch a scent, you may as well be invisable because they will follow that smell! I have Labs so I didn't have this problem when they were pups, but it could take a long time before you trust your dog to come back to you when let off the lead.
I would suggest trying the recall command in a fenced field using a reward. It worked with my dogs anyway. It will take time with a Beagle, you just have to be patient!
