The Terminator spinoff TV pilot The Sarah Connor Chronicles has found its John Connor. Thomas Dekker will play the role, which was previously portrayed first by Edward Furlong, in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and then by Nick Stahl in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
Dekker has appeared on several episodes of Heroes as Zach, the friend and confidant to cheerleader superhero Claire (Hayden Panettiere). Previously, Dekker had a recurring role on 7th Heaven.
Dekker joins the previously cast Lena Headey, who will play the title role of John's mother Sarah. The potential series takes place after the events of T2, and Dekker will play a 15-year-old John.
Moviehole reports that Jordana Brewster (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, The Fast and the Furious) has been cast in ABC's "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" pilot. She'll take over the role made famous by Angelina Jolie in the feature, which co-starred Brad Pitt.
The site adds that the pilot picks up six months after the end of the film and follows our typical suburban married couple - who just happen to be undercover assassins on the side – as they struggle to keep the spark in their marriage going, even as they try to save the world.
The project is being targeted for a fall 2007 premiere. Doug Liman and Simon Kinberg are reprising their roles as director and writer, respectively. Liman, Kinberg and Dave Bartis will executive produce.
SCI FI Channel talked to Heroes creator Tim Kring about the second season of the popular show. Here's a clip:
Tim Kring, creator of NBC's hit series Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming second season will constitute a new volume in the multi-volume series, with new characters and an entirely new storyline. "If you remember, the opening of the pilot pronounced the episode as the beginning of Volume One," Kring said in an interview. "Volume One comes to a conclusion at the end of episode 23, and Volume Two starts with the opening of season two. And Volume Two is a different story."

That sounds a bit dodgy.
Hopefully they won`t lose the fans of the first series by significantly changing the second series.
******************************** John Smith: So what am I then? Nothing. I`m just a story.
Doctor: You`re an echo. That`s all. A TimeLord is so much more. A sum of knowledge; a code. A shared history. A shared suffering. Only it`s gone now, all of it. Gone forever.
