Most of the episodes I've watched of Ugly Betty seemed more suitable to Sunday afternoon family-viewing than Fridays at 9 pm. It seems a programme for youngsters, more than old curmudgeons like myself. Then, late Friday viewing seems more on C4 seems provides more infantile smutty humour in shows like Balls Of Steels, Friday Night Project, Charlotte Church.
There's too much juvenile stuff and not enough curmudgeon-friendly gritty thought-provoking drama for my liking .
