Documentary used to be about educating audiences. Grierson set the boundaries and over the years they have been demolished. Nowadays documentary is used as a device for entertainment. It has become superficial in the issues it represents. Who is really interested in these 'shock-docs'? Are they not just mocking the individuals they present? Has documentary changed for better or for worse? What do you think?
