Mikey has gone, Rose is going, but what about Jackie?

Will she have a part in series 3?

I didn't like her at first but she grew on me as a character.

Ok i have to say I really enjoyed tonight's ep. I thought it was good with the whole 'Olympics' Concept and the supposedly crazy woman at the start, and the possessed kid. And Rose saved the day, albeit with a bit of help form the doc, but finding the ship and figuring out everything was her, and the mother and daughter need credit too for getting rid of that monster thing. Also interesting, plays on family situation. Next week's looks great. Can't wait.

Thoughts on Fear her

For a bottlesaver this was a good one I admit.

The Doctor - Quite interesting in this with telling Rose he was once a father and how he sided with the Isolus (or understood where it was coming from) but despite a major clue, it was Rose who saved the day. Like I said last week, seeds are being dropped for the finale big time.

Rose - Loved her here big time! The way she dealt with Chloe and that wonderful point she made about kids being terrors and how she managed to get the pod onto the Olympic torch - all very good. Pity her last words are gonna have serious repercussions by the next two weeks.

Chloe - I had sort of guessed that she wasn't really the child from hell but for a good length in this episode she was certainly creepy.

Trish - Yay, Nina Sossayna from Teachers/Casanova in a DW. trish hadn't a lot to do but she was still watchable IMO. The domestic violence worked well to emphasise both Chloe's loneliness and Trish's knack for burying her head in the sand too.

Isolus - A baddie who isn't really a baddie. First one we've had in a while I think. They are kind of similar to the Gelth with the "lost" thing?

Wonderful episode, 8/10.

Quotes ....

The Doctor (to Rose): “I’m not really a cat person. Once you’ve been threatened by one in a nun’s wimple, it takes the fun out of them”.

Trish (re Chloe’s father): “I’m telling you he’s dead”
Rose: “He’s very loud for a dead bloke”.

Rose (to The Doctor): “And I know what kids can be like – right little terrors”.

Commentator (re Olympic torch): “It’s more than a flame; it’s more than heat and light. It’s courage, its love”.

Rose: “They keep trying to split us up but they never will”
The Doctor: “Never say never”.

Even the father of the boy who went missing in the opner wasn't as concerned as you would expect him to be. I found that odd.

But trailer next - I'm so excited. My jaw literally hit the floor upon seeing it.
