Thoughts on "New Earth" Rose/Cassandra - i loved the acting Billie Piper had to go through in this episode. Body swaps are so cliched but they virtually left it to the last minute for Rose to come back. Her feelings for the Doctor are definitely intensifying by the minute. Even Cassandra noted that. The Doctor - I'm sold. David Tennant fits this role like a glove and he was so at ease with things here. I love seeing the Doctor's darker moments and he was right to angry here, at the SOP's but there was some wicked comdy with David camping it up when Cassandra hijacked The Doctor's body. LMAO at that. Sister of Plenitude - Cats who are nuns and nurses was always going to freak me out so I was almost glad that these seemingly benevolent creatures were bad after all. Chip - I felt for the poor guy. Talk about being under a person's thumb. Worse still, a person who could be used as an anti Nip/Tuck ad campaihn like ... Cassandra - Jeez, isn't she obsessed with vanity just a little too much. A good return episode and a wonderful end, ups the grey are apect of this wonderful series. Face Of Boe - Okay, so we don't out the secret until a third time, so does that mean next season, then? Brilliant if standard for an opener but an 8/10 from me which is a good and fair rating.

I'd have liked it better if they could have shown the real Doctor and Rose for the first episode, for me it didn't bring the characters together because for the most of it one or the other was playing Cassandra Still, next weeks looks good

Could be tricky. It depends to who and how they the BBC try and sell it. I think with DW and Torchwood, they should wait for a bit. At least we'll SJ and K9 in episode 3 this year.
