Thoughts on "Tooth And Claw"
The Doctor - DT was a little more bonkers here than in last week's premiere episode but he's still a good Doctor. I'm surprised he realised Rose was missing (she wasn't gone that long IMO) and his book comment was pretty fun.
Rose - The Bad Wolf thing is coming back or isn't finished with I think, given the interaction between her and The Host. She was heroic enough in this episode and her ongoing joke about getting Vicki to say "we're not amused" was funny.
Queen Victoria - Did anyone think of Miranda Richardson's performance as Queenie from Blackadder? I couldn't help myself thinking. I found Pauline Collins okay (very good when talking about Prince Albert) but she could've been a lot better IMO. Banishing The Doctor and Rose was stupid though after knighting, but hey Torchwood Institute at the end made me smile.
Robert/Reynolds - two loyal men willing to die for their monarch. It is weird that I was surprised that both of them got slaughtered?
Father Angelo/Ninja Monks - Total Matrix rip off with those fight sequences but they were a cool way of opening the episode though.
The Host/Werewolf - Good casting, okay CGI, menacing enough but it seemed to welcomed it's death and Russell once again made the beast a little sympathetic.
I'd say a 7/10, that's fair, right?
