I for one will not be watching the opening night of yet another boring and pointless BB series. i do not wish to offend anybody but what is the deal with watching people stuck in a house!?? where's the entertainment?

i totally agree. even if i did want to watch it i couldn't coz my mum think its crap aswell

I shall be watching. Big Brother starts and Despy Housewives ends- what a great night of TV!

If you don't like it that's fine, but if you actually want to know, for me the attraction of the show is in watching real people deal with a contained and highly artificial environment. I don't care if they're only doing it to try to get famous, or if they have deeply unappealing personalities- they are real human beings and I find watching them interacting and coping with the demands of Big Brother quite fascinating.

Big Brother turns Big Sister?

when it first started and no-one knew the 'game' it was good, but now they know the format so well and they make their own demands its no fun for me i'm afraid!....not watched since #4

well since nothing on last night apart soap awards i watched launch night and only housemates i liked are the twins.

i think BB is really clean up it's act by not having men in the house but you just know add a man later on just cause some tension between the housemates.

Personally I`m not a fan of BB. I watched some of the last Celeb BB, cos it had some interesting people.

I know it`s popular, but seeing as there is a WHOLE forum dedicated to the programme, do we have to have threads in here talking about the show?

if we have threads about dogs here, why not big brother?

i didn't watch a lot of last years BB due to the squeaky irritating fluffy spoilt brat, this year it's take your pick! i can see the angle they're going for, the whole bitching, cat fight element, finding housemates that they can tie into glamour contracts when they get booted out.

i hoped after last years 'twists' they'd go back to basics ie. put a broad selection of people in, let them get on with it and see what happens...but i guess not...

saying that, when the sh!t hits the fan i'll be sat glued with the rest of the nation

Just because you can`t get a word in edgeways in that forum when the show gets in full swing, doesn`t mean this forum becomes the overspill.

CHannel 4 have dedicated a whole forum with god knows how many sub threads there, which will be full of other fans of the show. Why inflict the other forums with threads on the show?

There are 14, yes FOURTEEN, different subforums. and each forum has loads of different topics.

the main BB8 forum has over 4000 topics. Plus each housemate has their own subforum.

Surely that`s enough space for everyone?

Look at it this way..... This topic: "Big Brother, a whole load of...." is one topic in the Discuss4 subforum. The Discuss4 subforum is only one of 3 subforums in the TALK4 forum. BB8 has 14 subforums, that`s almost 5 times bigger than the Talk4.

One assumes that fans of BB would wish to chat with other fans of BB. Therefore wouldn`t you go where you know there are BB fans congregating in large numbers?
