Mid season stuff rarely survives but Hidden Palms should do well really without The OC.

Will give Life a go, heck I'll give them all a go I expect.

Seems like the Americans just love remaking British shows. Footballers wives, Life On Mars and Wild At Heart. I also heard they were doing Bad Girls too.

The Bionic Woman Has Been Cast
Source:The Hollywood Reporter February 13, 2007

The Hollywood Reporter says that young British actress Michelle Ryan (images) has landed the title role on NBC's drama pilot "The Bionic Woman."

"Bionic Woman," from NBC Universal TV, is described as a re-imagination of the 1970s series. Ryan will play a bright woman who is transformed into a technological wonder with $50 million worth of bionic components implanted in her body.

Ryan is best known for her five-year turn on the popular BBC soap "EastEnders."

you know she's not that bad it would be interesting to see what she can do plus i think it's good move using British actress instead American one. I'm actually quite OK with it-i rather give her a chance-just look parminda-i didn't like her in bend like Beckham but she's not bad in ER.

i suppose but you have point there but let just see what she does i rather base my opinion on first episode of that series with her in than we can see whether she is good or bad-your all base this on fact she was in Eastenders it will be interesting to see what she does.

Some soap actors have done pretty well for themselves in other acting roles... you can hardly turn the telly over without seeing Alan Dale these days (aka Jim Robinson from Neighbours)
