The reason this VIEWER ENQUIRY person gets grief is because they won't answer a simple question. Namely, what is their definition of "in the not too distant future"?
If they don't know, and nobody in their wretched organisation knows, SAY SO!
OR
if they do know, explain in simple language what they mean by "In the not too distant future".
They have been pathetic in their consideration for their public. And it's not known yet if they have got the nerve to confirm this April date. It could still be a big wind up because, lets be honest, they really are only concerned with making money, i.e., selling advertising space which means getting more of BIG brother on the channel. If they have no interest in completing the show they started with, then sell it to a channel who will, just don't continue with that wretched dog in the manger attitude.
Their refusal to come clean and say clearly WHY they have let two years go by without showing NYPD BLUE is intensely frustrating. The way they operate it could be another five years before we get to see SERIES 12.

Although there's no harm in a gentle nag now and then, there's little point in shooting the messenger. If C4VE hasn't got anything concrete to tell us, it's no fault of his/hers.

My beef remains with the powers that be, not with C4VE him/herself.


I for one shall remain positive about April, and if it doesn't happen then, I'll be chucking my Easter eggs at the TV!

Glad to see that there may be some movement at last by CH4 on this front. Problem is I can't remeber how the last season finished. Maybe we could have the last two episodes shown again, before the new season airs. Also pleased to see Season 3 will be on DVD in April 2006 on Region 1. All this just before my 40th birthday in June........Hip, Hip, Hooray. Ah Rah Best for now.

Nothing new to add - just wanted to say "Hello", and add another voice to the chorus clamouring for NYPD Blue's return.

I found this thread after finding out the show had run its course in the U.S., and wondering idly if there were any plans to air however many seasons hadn't been shown here.

Reading back through the posts reminded me how much I'd loved the show, and how much I miss it. They just don't make 'em like that any more...

Hello again all! Its been a long time - I see that nothing has changed here! Anyway guys, i haven't forgotten you - I have been quietly slaving away, taping Series 11 of NYPDB on RTE (in Ireland). I have a build-up now of about 5 tapes. Sparky - I usually send them to you... got the feeling from a quick read through this thread that you are not at home? Has that changed? Where will I post to so? Email me anyway and let me now.
Anyway, y'all, keep the faith! Series 11 is great and worth watching even WITH missing out on S10.
