Dino- That's called "Iguazu" by Gustavo Santaolalla. He composed some of the music for Brokeback Mountain, and this track (according to amazon.co.uk) is on the album "Ronroco".
Grandslam- No indication we'll be going for the K9 series. No statement has been issued about progress of radio projects.

Ethan- Fees for documentary participants are a private matter between the parties concerned. However, the only fees usually paid are for travel/accomodation (if we're asking the subject to travel to suit us) and sometimes a modest inconvenience fee if filming is disrupting the subject's day to day life.

hello! it's been such a long time for me in here, hope eveyrone is well! question/rant! why must everything be on thursdays?! you got ER at 9pm on E4 along now with without a trace on more4, and with House being on 5 at 9pm, and greys anatomy being on at 10pm means i cant watch things on e4/more4 plus 1!! yes i know ER repeats, but still! there are other weekdays as well y'kno! does without a trace repeat at all,what day? thanks!

Without A Trace is on twice on Thursdays and again twice on Sundays. Factor in More4+1 and you have eight opportunities to see it every week. |

Everybody Loves Raymond - I did not know it was back on CH4 in the mornings. I read in the listings that it started on Tuesday, 25 April, with the pilot episode. Well, I missed it. I would love to have seen the pilot. So why was there absolutely no advertising that it was coming back? And from the very first show too, which I've never seen at all; I am heartbroken to have missed it.
I watch channel 4, am I mad? I hope so! :-)

Sorry you missed the pilot episode of Everybody Loves Raymond.
It's rare for us to actively promote morning shows, so best to keep a careful eye on weekly listings so as not to miss out.

That's a scheduling matter. They put programmes in appropriate slots based on content, likely audience etc. Assuming the underlying reason for your enquiry is that you think it should have an earlier slot, you'd be better off making that statement directly to the Viewer Enquiries department so it can be formerly registered for the attention of the schedulers. |

I heard that channel 4 are introducing downloadable content of seasons 2 of dh and lost. also, they will be available on ntl in high definition. are there any plans to make them available for sky hd customers? thanks.

I see Shameless series 4 will be eight episodes long. Was the length of the series limited by Channel 4 or did Paul Abbott only want eight episodes?

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, I believe you/C4 are wrong:- Ofcom allows 18 certificate material to be shown on any channel after 21.00. Explicit ‘sex works’, which would receive an R18 certificate, are not allowed. Mainstream movies, documentaries etc. that contain explicit sex are not classed as ‘sex woks’ by Ofcom or the BBFC, so regularly receive uncut 18 certificates e.g. 'Inside Deep throat', '9 Songs' etc. I would be surprised if the minor amount of explicit content in ‘Porn: A Family Business’ comes close to that contained in '9 songs', so it would, in all probability, receive an uncut 18 certificate, so could be shown after 21.00, uncensored. Please do not use Ofcom as an excuse for C4 censorship – just look at the censored version of ‘Sex and Lucia’ that was broadcast on C4, even though it has an uncut 18 from the BBFC – how do you justify that? |

@ Ethan FYI, Ofcom are already responsible for the most extreme broadcast censorship in the EU, I, for one, don't want to see even more nannying than we currently suffer from. You are entitled to your own views, but why should you have the right to inflict them on other people? At the end of the day, if you don't like it, don't watch it! |
